Two men are presently nursing injuries at the Dominica-China Friendship Hospital (DCFH) and are said to be in critical condition following a shooting incident that occurred in Popo, Campbell at about 8:45 PM last night.
According to police reports, both men received serious injuries to their upper torso consistent with perforated gunshot injuries.
The Major Crime Unit along with the St. Joseph Police District have begun an investigation into the matter.
They should be denied medical attention.
The people that need it not getting it.
Popo is in the Mahaut district,I hope the Mahaut police is involved in the investigation.
Man you were a police officer…..Mahaut Station falls under the St. Joseph Police District so the inspector in-charge of the district can assign a mor qualified investigator from anywhere between Massacre Primary Pchool bridge area through to Coulibistrie to do the investigation if he so chooses. I always knew you fell asleep in class while on training

Crime is definitely on the rise. Obviously, illegally guns and ammunition are still escaping detection at the ports and borders. However, the incumbent administration is lacks the foresight and willingness to reduce the flow of these instruments of death from entering the country.
I will ask for the umpteen time. Where is the strategic crime plan by law enforcement? Are these men and women only used to intimidate, harass, brutalize, arrest law abiding citizens who happen to exercise their constitutional rights by opposing the corrupt and damaging policies of the thugs in Cabinet?
We need a paradigm change to get the country back on track.
