Ukraine war: Biden says nuclear risk highest since 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis

President Biden said the Russian leader was “not joking” when he talked about using tactical nuclear, biological or chemical weapons

BBC News reports: The risk of a nuclear “Armageddon” is at its highest level since the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis, US President Joe Biden has said.

Mr Biden said Russia’s President Vladimir Putin was “not joking” when he spoke of using tactical nuclear weapons after suffering setbacks in Ukraine.

The US was “trying to figure out” Mr Putin’s way out of the war, he added.

The US and the EU have previously said Mr Putin’s nuclear sabre-rattling should be taken seriously.

However, the US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan last week said that, despite Moscow’s nuclear hints, the US had seen no signs that Russia was imminently preparing to use a nuclear weapon.

The USA settled I. Hegemon status and continues to be comfortable in there. The USA once was a weak state and grew.on the 40s following world wars especially war II. What is lacking today is the statecraft tool called diplomacy which was utilized by Kennedy during the Cuban Missile crisis. The military and advisors wanted a nuclear war but the president there are various weaknesses that the USA had that pressured the USA in to diplomacy. The feel of military might the number of nuclear weapons the USA had over Soviet the general then wanted a nuclear war and cla that sooner or later they would have one why not now. Today the USA is still stocking up on on pills in case of nuclear fallout – their war advisors are always realist theory guys – Kennedy during the Cuban Missile crisis saw lack of shelters to secure citizens.

There needs to be an on off switch for Biden, anytime he gets ready to say something stupid they need to cut off the microphone. His VP Harris is worse she laughs at everything if someone told her enemy troops were landing on the coast of Californian she would burst out laughing.

Biden needs to think before speaking. He does not think he just says what ever he is thinking at the time. His problem is he has been in Washington over 50 years he has never had a real job. After he leaves the presidency he would have been in Washington almost 60 years, that is absurd. There also needs to be an age limit on how old someone can be to be president of 65 after that they should be put out to pasture same with Congress. Some of the people in Congress are almost 100 years old and will die in Congress. Once elected to Congress these people believe that they are royalty ruling over the villagers. The political problems in the US will never be fixed till their are term limits and age limits on people in Washington. It will never happen because these same Congress members make the law and will never change it because they benefit from the current system.

Wars are sometimes a necessary evil. There is so much destruction that no one really wins in a war of this magnitude we are witnessing right now.

Most wars are fought over land/territory. Power, greed and selfishness are usually the motivating factors. This seemingly unnecessary war between Russia and Ukraine might just lead to cataclysmic consequences for the world.

Biden is a demented old man that doesn’t even know where he is.

I hope he is not unilaterally working on an exit strategy for Putin. That’s when THE WORLD is in trouble if the man feels ever more cornered! with literally thousands of war-heads pointed at each other’s heavy population centers. He should now back down for peace sake.
It’s ugly already. Remember what happened last time Europe and European-Americans talked that way on European soil, and gave a whole country to the European Jews? That started a new cold war with Arabs that’s difficult to stop.
