Investigations are currently ongoing following the death of a member of the United Nations delegation in Antigua and Barbuda.
The man was discovered in his hotel room at the Jolly Beach Resort on Tuesday.
According to reports, he was discovered by one of his colleagues who is also part of the delegation.
The individual from the UN team was involved in organizing the upcoming 4th Small Island Developing States Conference.
Antigua and Barbuda is currently in high preparation mode to hold the largest conference it has ever embarked on.
Over 5000 delegates, world leaders and government officials will attend that conference scheduled to be held at the American University of Antigua from May 27 to 30.
It costs about US$7M to hold this massive conference and members of the UN have been visiting the island to put things in place.
The death is currently under scrutiny. The police have not said whether foul play was involved.
