They have been trying to take Kerson, but every attempt is a bloodbath. They go in thousands, and its a meat grinder, thousands die… At that rate Ukraine might not have an army by mid 2023…They took some land in Karkiv because Russia only had 500 troops fighting against their 5000 troops. But once they reach the Oskil River, they met Russian defenders they cant go further…

The biggest mistake Ukraine made was to give up their nuclear weapons on the strength of the agreement Russia signed to never invade Ukraine. So when you speak of blatant violation of agreements, you should consider all of them.
Had Ukraine kept their nukes, Russia would think very hard about messing with them.
As much as I am not a fan of Kim Jung Un, the only thing that protects them is their nuclear arsenal.
Once the war is over, Ukraine should get busy developing their nuclear deterrent.
