
The Dominica Council on Ageing Inc. (DCOA Inc.) is set to honor four centenarians during September, recognizing their extraordinary milestone birthdays.
Currently, DCOA reports, there are a total of sixteen individuals in Dominica who have reached the age of 100 or older. Among those celebrating their centennial year this month are:
– Iona Nicholas from Mero, who turns 101 on September 3
– Josephine Pascal from Grand Fond, also marking her 101st birthday on September 10
– Juliana Scotland of Roseau, who will be 101 on September 13
– Josephine Wilshire of PHARCS, celebrating her 103rd birthday on September 24
“Their lives represent a legacy of strength, perseverance, and invaluable contributions to our society, and the DCOA Inc. is pleased to acknowledge and celebrate these remarkable milestones,” stated the organization.
