Great work officers let’s hope the case file WILL be completed soon. The sooner it gets to the DPP is the better.Too many cases are investigated by lazy political officers.I doe support the government in power,so I doe care.In the 70s and 80s it was a pleasure for a police officer to go toe to toe with a lawyer.Today police officers are afraid of lawyers, that is why so many cases are being thrown out of court.

There should be tougher sentences on murderers because there are too many useless killings on the island.

Hope the police have charged the right culprit. I also trust that law enforcement will apprehend the perpetrator of the other recent murder, and solve most of the cold cases. When this happens the whole of society wins.

The police must get the adequate resourced they nerd to function optimally. They should recruit the best and the brightest coming out of school and colleges. The police force needs a metamorphosed change. Stop promotion based on political on political loyalty to the ruling political party. Resort to merit based promotion within.

Lastly, ensure that there is ongoing training and
opportunities for upward mobility . No police officer should join the Force and after twenty years plus remainder entry level.

I hope for a fully resourced and proactive police force on Dominica. One that will protect and serve the citizenry effectively and efficiently.
