UPDATE: Tanisha Balson is Miss Dominica 2025

Tanisha Balson of Fond Canie has copped the 2025 Miss Dominica Title.

She edged four other competitors at a competition which took place at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium Forecourt on Thursday night.

She won the awards for Miss Photogenic, Best National Spectacular Wear, Best in National Spectacular Wear, Best Talent, Best Evening Wear and Best in Evening Wear.

Aliyah Jean-Jacques who represented Canefield secured the 1st runner-up position, while Meeya Francis who also represented Canefield won the 2nd Runner- up spot.

Meeya grabbed the awards for Best Swimwear, Best in Swimwear and the Community Project Award.

Laveda Liverpool who represented the Giraudel community won the awards for Miss Amity and the Chairperson Award, while Ruth-Anne Henderson of Grand Bay took the award for Best Interview.
