The Nassau Cruise Port recently hosted a courtesy visit and site tour by the United States Ambassador to the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, Herschel Walker, who visited the facility alongside his wife, Julie Blanchard Walker.
During their time at the port, the Ambassador and his wife were guided through the piers and key operational areas, where they were introduced to the daily functions that sustain one of the Caribbean’s leading cruise hubs, shared a media release. The visit reportedly offered a closer look at how the port manages its high volume of passengers and maintains its standards of service.
As part of the itinerary, the delegation also explored the Bahamas Museum of Junkanoo, “where they experienced the vibrant cultural heritage that defines the Bahamian identity.”
Nassau Cruise Port stated that Ambassador Walker took time to interact with local vendors and hair braiders operating within the port, as well as American cruise passengers. The release added that these exchanges reflected the enduring social and cultural connections shared between The Bahamas and the United States.

The visit served as an opportunity for Nassau Cruise Port to showcase its ongoing focus on operational excellence, its commitment to authentic cultural representation, and its support for local entrepreneurs who contribute to the visitor experience.

Herschel Walker is a Black MAGA who lost his bid for the Senate because he is one of Trump’s sycophants who is also anti black. That’s why black Americans hate him and rejected him. This job is a bit of a sweetener from daddy Trump as a repayment for his loyalty and a**e licking. Not sure why Bahamian people cosying up to him. He’s probably scouting for sites in the Bahamas for Trump to build a casino and golf course.
Wow wonders never cease. I have not seen Mr. Walker since his ill-fated Georgia Senate campaign against sitting Senator Raphael Warnock.
Though I am a staunch believer in redemption and second chances, I am also a stickler for staying in one’s lane and the concept of qualified candidates.
Walker, in the role of US Ambassador to the Bahamas, is right out of Comedy Central casting. It would appear that his legacy ties with the US President is still paying dividends.
Mind you, I am fully aware that the US leader has every right to choose whom he may for the role of Ambassador; however, there is a good chance Walker will fumble this role, ultimately resulting in a certain letdown instead of a wishful Hail Mary touchdown.
“fumble this one”… “hail Mary touchdown” … I see what you did there
(Walker used to be in the NFL – for those who missed the reference…)
During the election for a Senate seat in the State of Georgia, I listened to this guy in a debate against his Democratic counterpart. The guy could not even put two coherent sentences together. It is said that Burger King & Diet Coke Don surrounds himself with the who genuflect and bruise their knees before him. Herschel Walker is one such case as he could not get that post on merit. No wonder t
America is falling apart. Oh, how far the mighty has fallen!
Here is an interesting follow-up adding to your criticism of Herschel Walker
