Vote for Dominica’s Leanne Morancie as she climbs top 10 of Entrepreneur of Impact Competition with Daymond John

Leanne Morancie

Dominica’s Leanne Morancie has secured a place among the Top 10 in Colossal’s 2026 Entrepreneur of Impact competition, following several competitive preliminary rounds that drew millions of applicants.

Reaching this stage marks an important milestone in the competition, hosted by mogul Daymond John, FUBU founder and investor in ABC’s Shark Tank, as she now moves into a phase where public support will determine who advances to the Top 5.

Voting is currently open, giving supporters the opportunity to contribute directly to her progress. Each person can cast one free vote daily, while additional votes are available through donations that benefit GENYOUth, an organization working to improve students’ access to nutritious meals and physical activity.

“I am always grateful for the opportunity to make meaningful impact. Thank you for your support,” Morancie said, acknowledging the encouragement she has received so far.

Speaking with Dominica News Online, the Grand Bay native and Convent High School graduate explained that her brand, Leanne Lutterness™, was first conceived during her time in pageantry.

“I experienced a lack of skincare and beauty products that met my needs,” she said.

Because of her sensitive skin, Morancie found herself constantly switching between products that failed to deliver results.

Drawing on her existing knowledge of crystal use, she noted that her studies at the University of the Virgin Islands gave her the skills needed to begin developing her own solutions.

“I had adequate exposure to formulate a transdermal product that I later found out would not only be great for me but serve a group of individuals who suffered from skin conditions and underlying ailments and shared the same sentiments,” she added.

Building on that knowledge, her crystalline skincare line has since evolved into the “woman-owned, ethically made” brand it is today.

The work she does through her brand is closely connected to her participation in the competition, seeing her embrace her roles as a skincare entrepreneur while also advocating for financial literacy. This dual focus aligns with the mission of World System Builder, an initiative that Morancie is a part of, which aims to financially educate 30 million families by 2030.

She has indicated that winning the $25,000 prize would allow her to further develop her company’s marketing and distribution, helping to expand its reach and impact.

“I am immensely grateful to my supporters, our loyal clients, for recognizing me as an Entrepreneur of Impact,” Morancie said, noting that the experience has been especially meaningful given her ongoing commitment to youth empowerment and community-focused initiatives.

“Vote me Entrepreneur of Impact 2026,” she urged.

Daily votes are free. Members of the public who want to support a Dominican daughter of the soil may vote for Morancie here.

Voting ends on Thursday, April 23 at 1o PM.

It’s not AI, just heavily edited to the point where all the details in her face are gone. Not the best choice for a skincare brand.
