
Public voting for the Dominica Music Awards (DMA) 2025 has officially begun, inviting fans across the island and around the globe to support the artists, musicians, producers, and creative professionals who continue to shape Dominica’s vibrant music scene.
Set for Saturday, January 3, 2026, at the InterContinental Dominica Cabrits Resort & Spa, the Dominica Music Awards, potentially one of the nation’s premier music events, will honor talent, innovation, cultural preservation, and the creative power of Dominican people.

The DMA amplifies Dominican talent regionally and internationally—strengthening the creative economy, expanding opportunities for artists, and showcasing Dominica’s rich cultural identity to the world.
This is a great initiative and should be applauded.. However for the inaugural Award ceremony there are too many categories my advice to the committee would be to narrow down the categories and allow the initiative to mature then when it becomes established an assessment can be done to see whether there is need for add on. Quality is not always based on quantity
