A low-level trough is expected to move across the area today, bringing bringing an increase in cloudiness and light to moderate, scattered showers. People in areas prone to flooding, landslides and falling rocks should remain alert and exercise caution.

Seas will be moderate, with wave heights up to 5ft along the west coast and up to 8ft along the east coast during the next 24 hours. A Small Craft Advisory is in effect. All sea users and people living near to or traversing coastal areas, particularly along the eastern coastline, are advised to exercise extreme caution. A gradual decrease in wave heights is expected to begin tonight.
