WEATHER ( 6:00 AM, Dec 11): Scattered showers, small craft advisory continues

A high-pressure system is anticipated to bring gusty to strong winds across Dominica today, prompting residents to secure any loose items. According to the Dominica Metereological Services, the moist air carried by the wind is likely to cause predominantly cloudy conditions with occasional scattered showers throughout the day.

Over the next 24 hours, sea conditions are predicted to be moderate to rough, with wave heights reaching up to 5 feet along the western coast and approaching 10 feet along the eastern coast. A Small Craft Advisory is still in effect. Mariners, coastal residents, and travelers on coastal routes are advised to exercise maximum caution.
