WEATHER (6:00 PM, July14): Cloudiness, scattered showers, possible thunderstorms expected next 24-48 hrs

A westward-moving tropical wave is expected to result in an increase in moisture levels across the area during the next 24 to 48 hours. This is expected to result in an increase in cloudiness with scattered showers and the chance of isolated thunderstorms.

People in areas prone to flooding, landslides, and falling rocks are advised to be on alert and to exercise caution during the period.

Seas are expected to be slight to moderate over the next 24 hours, with waves peaking to 3 feet along the western coastline and near 5 feet along the eastern coast.
