WEATHER: Outlook for Dominica and the Lesser Antilles (from 6:00 AM on Thursday 31 July 2025)

A ridge pattern is building across the area. Patches of clouds drifting with the wind flow are expected to result in partly cloudy to cloudy skies with a few showers today.

From tonight, moisture and instability ahead of a westward-moving tropical wave are expected to result in increased cloudiness, with scattered showers and possible isolated thunderstorms. People in areas at risk of flooding, landslides, or falling rocks should be on alert, especially during and after heavy showers. Occasional breezy conditions can be expected during the period.

Seas are expected to be slight to moderate, with wave heights peaking near 3 feet along the western coast and near 5 feet along the eastern coast.
