An increase in moisture trailing Hurricane Sam is expected to affect the area during the next 24 to 48 hours. This is expected to result in an increase in cloudiness with showers and possible isolated thunderstorms during the period. Light winds will also be evident.
People in areas prone to flooding, landslides and falling rocks should remain on alert.
Meanwhile, at 11am, one of two areas of low pressure being monitored in the far eastern tropical Atlantic near the coast of Africa developed into tropical depression number 20.
