There is a right and a wrong to everything in life. Whenever i go to vote for general elections there are always agents of the various parties. There are always police officers who are from/lives in the communities in the polling stations. Furthermore the persons who work in the polling stations are from the communities. What exactly is the issue? I am just not getting it. There is no way someone from marigot can come to vote in mahaut without one of those many persons not observing. Why is the CCM so closely affiliated to UWP? To date none of those parties has comvince me why i should vote for them. It is sad. Really really sad to see how our representatives behave. God have mercy on our country.

The biggest actor is Jehovah who spared us Sept 2017. The other the Government of Dominica – I see houses being build; Elderly persons left by relatives being taken care of by the YES WE Care programme; I know the over 70’s are getting an allowance to help them cope. I know that many more are attending the Dominica State College than when I was their age & 4 Free now; I know those under 16 & over 60 do not have to pay for hospital fees. I have seen meaningful work being done on the roads, houses roof top, new building etc after the hurricane Maria. I have seen the hands of mercy over us during Maria. Only those who did not leave their vulnerable homes died! Isn’t this something 2 b thankful 4. If we cannot be thankful to Jehovah, then we cannot thank anyone else. Only talking & complaining! Jehovah does not like complaints. Maria was over DA 7 hours compared 2 Bahamas 5 times more- 5 hours. Imagine what it was 4 us. We must b thankful sympathetic 2. Go drive around DA 2 c 4

As redundant as it may sound, three words which I believe came from %, is going to bring down the DLP and the words are -Whey de Money? Unless DLP can give an account of the 1.2 billion, it is over for them.

I guess you are still owing the Haitians for the last demonstration so they didn’t turn up! The UWP, DFP, the Letang Union and now the CCM are all in the political arena, yet still the four parties cannot get al least 💯 people to listen to them. Regardless to the name calling and derogatory terms that are used against DLP, Dominicans are still gravitating towards DLP, why? % we know the billions hasn’t gained any steam, neither is the electorate reforms, stop sounding redundant and give us a quick synopsis of how you are going to generate interest in Dominica and how you are going to grow the economy.

Were it not free and fair when your party won in 1990? You are supposed to be intelligent (or so I think). U seem not happy but u must stop hating a son of the soil. I am angry at our Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit, a man I used to have a lot of respect for. Mr. Skerrit now refuses to leave the office inspite of the fact that our young people cannot enjoy a decent long term “permanent” job with a wage they can live off comfortably. Mr. Skerrit knows that his party will not win the next general election if electoral reform is implemented. So his team is working overtime, doing everything they can to block it. That’s a shame! What disgraceful behavior for a Prime Minister and ruling party! Mr. Skerrit, in a democracy, the majority of voters decide who will form our government, not you! Not your team! We decide!

Dominicans, you have to be resolute in your determination to wrestle the momentum of electoral reforms from the obstinate and badly corrupt ruling regime. Let’s ask ourselves, why is this incumbent political party (DLP) so determined to maintain the status quo when all right thinking and law abiding citizens know that the present Electoral System is replete with loop holes for corrupt practices. The gravely corrupt bunch of lawbreakers wants to use the broken system to chalk up yet another ill-gotten victory at the polls to extend their undeserved time in office. All decent minded, level headed Dominicans should keep alive, on the front burner, this burning issue of electoral reforms until it materializes. The voice of the people is the voice of GOD.

I was thrilled to have been part of the rally..Happy to see that the fear factor is leaving the people and they are turning out in larger numbers than before..The power is in our hands to get reform, and we must get the basic reforms that we are demanding Wicked Skerrit is embattled before the election, We know that the he Commonwealth, the O A S and Caricom have their eyes on evil Skerrit. So let’s come out people. Hope that we see thousands on the streets of Roseau soon! I am polishing my boots now!!

% Did u pay a money at the Treasury? Where is the receipt? Where are the facts 2 really say that money missing. Monies are not paid directly to individuals. Monies are paid into the Treasury. Do you know what is a budget? It is a projection of monies (taxes etc) & monies expected to be paid out. This is not actual. The actual may be less or more than the budgeted amount. Please stop insulting the intelligence of the Professionals. Monies are not just paid out so from the Treasury.There has to be supporting documents & procedures. Go visit the department, ask about processes b4 you are a stuck record “Whey is de money?” or SMG!
