Following an attack on Iran’s consulate in Damascus which has been attributed to Israel, Iran launched its own attack on Israel with waves of missile and drone strikes overnight into Sunday.
This attack marks a new chapter of tension and uncertainty following the Israel-Hamas conflict which had already served to further deteriorate relations between Iran and Israel.
Amidst pleas from its allies to step back from the brink of open warfare in favour of de-escalation, the future of this conflict remains unsettling unclear.
In true Western mainstream media fashion when it comes to coverage of Israel, DNO misleading headline gives the impression that Israel is the victim here. Your headline should read ‘ In response to Israeli aggression against Iran by the bombing of their embassy’ this would give a more balanced view of the article and not portray Israel as the victim. Furthermore the Iranian response was quite proportionate considering no Israeli lives where lost thanks mainly due to the intervention of Israel’s Western allies who were able to shoot down most of the drones and missiles bound for Israeli military targets. Compare that to the over 34 thousand Palestinians killed by Israel in response to Hamas attack. Yet people in the West especially the media and politicians keep treating these zionists as victims rather than perpetrators.

The very first line of the article explains it is likely in retaliation for the attack on the Iranian consul (Israel has not claimed this attack and rarely acknowledges attacks against Iranian targets). The attack on the Consul in Syria was in turn apparently a response to allegedly Iranian backed attacks (including via the Houthi rebels) on Israeli interests.
Their is an ongoing history of tension and aggression between Israel and Iran often via the use of proxies and liberal use of propaganda including claims and counter claims.
The article is not about the exhaustive list of preceding attacks and who claims who struck who first but what a direct attack on Israeli soil that Iran officially acknowledged during this heightened period (even for the middle east) implies and what is likely to come next.

The USA, Britain and other western countries were quick to issue official condemnation of Israel after its drone attack on Israel which killed no-one, yet where was the condemnation of Israel after it attacked Iran’s embassy in Syria killing seven, that justified this response?

Typical America and the West, but the Unipolar world where America was everything, is very quickly coming to an end, as other nations are forming their own blocks and alliances. Have you heard of BRICS? In time to come i am sure that it will have its own military alliance, it’s own currency, etc, etc, etc,..
I am happy that Iran retaliated and 9 missiles hit 2 air bases…Please dont believe everything that you hear on Western media, like 99% of drones and missiles were shot down. When you listen to them, do so with an open mind, and always question what you hear…They lie a lot, and one is not clever, then he is quickly ensnared by whaf he hears.
