Fifteen million dollars ($15 000 000) on a festival while the vagrant population balloons, hundreds of families go hungry, garbage trucks in short supply, hospitals short of medical supplies and equipment, public buildings in disrepair, roads suffering from pothole disease, electricity generator outdated, new landfill needed, potable water to homes unreliable, huge lack of modern sporting facilities, and this list could be continued ad infinitum. Simply put, too much resources are being put into this gig while other more urgent and important priorities are being ignored.
