Were any Government official I mean ministers and PM at the Gala.
Dominica is most definitely one of the most culturally rich countries in the Caribbean. The local music, songs, foods, dances, dialect, art & craft make for a potentially booming orange economy. Unfortunately, these remain largely unexposed to the rest of the world to sample.
It is oxymoronic that a country so naturally wealthy but the vast majority of the inhabitants are so indigent. This is a telltale sign of two things, leadership deficiency combined with entrenched and widespread corruption in government.
CORRUPTION is a cancer that eats away at democracy. It diminishes and eventually kills the hopes and aspirations of a people.
