More importantly, it inspires Dominican voters to go to the poles on election day and cast their votes by the shoe. That is why the DLP cannot lose.

IBO, I challenge you to leave your apartment in New York and come to Dominica for 30 days to help out some people in your village. Come prove to us that you are worthy, and you really care about this land. You see, your continuous criticism of every development in this country is getting old. Come spend some money in Dominica, come donate something, role up your sleeves and help some poor person out.

Skerrit has no inclination to remain there that long. However, Labour will IF it is the will of the people. Keep in mind that one strong factor in the DLP’s success is the incompetence of the opposition. So, unless those “other Dominicans” come forward and convince the majority of the electorate that they have something productive to offer, the DLP will remain in office until…! So far, no “other Dominicans” has shown itself worthy. None!

Finally knew better is getting to his senses.In the 2014 general election,Lennox Linton as leader of UWP contested his first election.Linton was able to win 3 additional seats and almost 5,000 votes for UWP.The Labour party went on the ground,kept several political meetings,and was able to convince the PEOPLE that Linton was fake.In 2019 Linton lost all 3 seats and 1,163 votes.Instead of going on the ground UWP said the election was stolen because diasporans were paid to vote Labour.So in 2023 Skerrit called a snap election without the diasporans,giving UWP the chance to prove they had the support of Dominicans living in Dominica instead they boycotted the election and Labour won 19 seats with 85% of votes cast.UWP cannot win election on q95 with the media whore,Blessings and Blueblue talking BS everyday.The media whore cannot even win a village council election.UWP have no foot soldiers and no movement,so they can never win an election in Dominica.Not that set of dishonest people.

More talk talk talk. What is the UWP doing for the respective constituencies? Nothing from what i see except complain about Skerrit and flex their gwabjam in the streets. While i pray for the day that we have a change of government, i dont see the only party that has a possible chance, doing ANYTHING on the ground apart from running their mouths. Mr. Thompson Fontaine is undoubtedly a very intelligent man.He is morally and ethically outstanding. However, his frequent and lengthy absence from Dominica does not portend well for the country nor political party.
Where in the world is there a successful leaderless or headless country, political organisation, school or business establishment? Name one.
Mr. Fontaine, on several occasions, has rubbished the importance of his continued physical presence in Dominica. He should refrain from making such remarks if he wants to be taken as a serious leader.

Lol! A few weeks ago you, Ibo, posted here that Fontaine had lied to his supporters when he told them that he would leave his job in South Sudan if elected as Leader of the UWPwee.
