    Here these people are pumping millions of dollars to restore an edifice to perfection when tens of thousands o f Dominicans cannot afford healthful meal. They engage also in many fundraising activities not to help the aged, homeless and infirm, but for a building.

    These Bishops and men of the cloth have their priorities wrong. Which is more important, human beings or buildings? These religious ministers have the same mindset as the political ministers. Their priorities are not the needs of the congregation or the people. All they indulged in is lip service. No wonder the churches are sparsely populated. Churches are becoming irrelevant in the minds of the citizenry.
