Look Skerrit is the BiG winner of the electoral reform consultations and he won by a very wide margin. Apart from the actual nightly debate that was carried live on all radio stations on island, the debate was the headline on DBS news and was 80% of the national news. On kairie it was the talking point. On Q95 it was all Matt was talking about on his hot seat and talk on block, although it was not a hot subject on the block in my opinion.
So prior to the electoral consultation of Skerrit the current state of the CBI, our inability to travel to the UK visa free and the episodes of former government minister and ambassador Matthew Walter, were dominating the conversation on every street corner and Q95. At that time I felt Skerrit was on the back foot and cornered. The electoral reform consultation pushed the opposition forces on the back foot and Skerrit regained supremacy and this I believe will be the conversation for a while and I am afraid that the opposition took that bait
