This point person is right on point.Not only that POINT the Dominican people kicked out DLP and voted DFP,no election reform.They kicked out DFP and voted the corrupt UWP,no election reform.They kicked out UWP because of corruption,victimization,lies and greed and voted DLP.Now we are hearing about electoral reform.They, ERC which is an arm of UWP want to force election reform down the throat of Dominicans.Election reform will come when it will come,and it will come when the PEOPLE want it,and how the PEOPLE want it.
Feller, you ever hear of DFP or UWP paying how much chartered plane and boats by the plenty to bring in people to vote? YOu ever hear of DFP and UWP brazenly giving out envelopes of $10,000 $20,000 $30,000 to people as political brobery? So much that the act has even been given a colloquial term? It is because of the DLP that both you and i know what the “cool out” money is all about. It is because of DLP that Public workers have been brazen in their open declared support at political rallies in full garb without fear. Public workers are not allowed to openly show political affiliation. It is a conflict of interest. Under the DLP we see the close of the most businesses and financial institutions. what took us years to build in the Ross university, under the DLP we lost it overnight. and i could go on. Development, Resiliance and state of the art of just words they use that are in line with the international donor agencies so they can get more money to steal.
Name one dead person who voted Labour.That is the problem with liars,crooks and traitors,they lie with no shame.In 2019 UWP lost 1,163 votes,those lazy lying acolytes of UWP are not talking about their inability to attract votes.In 2022 the UWP never complained about diasporans votes,they boycotted the election and Labour got 85% of votes cast.If as UWP claimed they have the support of Dominicans living and voting in Dominica,then they would have no problems in winning a snap election without overseas voters.Reform The Deform people like you keep repeating the same BS over and over again,year after year.Go on the ground,be a foot soldier for your lazy corrupt party,the is how election is won.The people voted UWP,they have seen them in action,because of victimization,corruption,greed and lies UWP was kicked out of office.Snap election or not electoral reform or not UWP cannot win an election.The majority of Dominicans are NOT interested in electoral reform, eyes are open you cannot see.
Feller if not for the Freedom party you would be quiet in your dark hole. If not for freedom agreeing to merge with labor UWP would still be there. so just shut your mouth. and say thank you to the Freedom party and Charles “Turncoat Traitor” Severin.
I am baffled and sadly confused to see and witness the amount of people who are adamantly against fairness, honesty, truth and transparency. It’s mind bugling. But the truth is is this, what you sow is exactly what you reap come harvest time.
For those of you who are against honesty and electoral reform in Dominica are not able to prevent it from taking place. You all may resort to violence when it is enacted but your violence against the constitution will have severe consequences. Dominica is on track for electoral reform and there’s no turning back. If after such reform the people of Dominica choose to elect labor party in a fair and transparent election, then that would be acceptable. But when we have people claiming to have won with people being resurrected from the dead voting, plus people who live overseas and have nothing to do with Dominica accepting travel experiences to come to vote and return, people who claimed victory with dead votes should be jailed for 15 years.
@Reform the Deformed. you are very right you are baffled and confused? Wasn’t it a lawyer for the UWP that filed an injunction to stop the government from tabling electoral reform law in parliament? Isn’t the UWP the one always threatening violence if they don’t get their way. Skeritt has made no changes to the election laws that existed when DFP won three consecutive elections(1980-1990) and the UWP won in 1995. The UWP brought in overseas voters to help them win. How many incidents have been reported to the authorities on election day and in the history of Dominica how many people have been prosecuted for voter fraud?..NONE

Another blind UWP acolytes.The accusation of Mr.Anil Roberts did not come from the government and the Dominican people.It came from the government and people of Trinidad and Tobago of which Anil Roberts was Minister of sports.Roberts resigned because,it is ALLEGED by his government that he was involved in massive corruption in the ministry of sports in Trinidad and Tobago.That mean nothing to UWP and their acolytes,they took was kicked out of office by the Dominican people for CORRUPTION,victimization,lies and greed.
Good vibes but at the end of the day it’s going to be a meaningless speech as UWP, the main opposition continues to be divided into how many parts , where team Linton continues to attack the leadership of Dr Fontaine on talk shows. So yes ver good vibes but unless there is is unity within the opposition forces all that will mean nothing

This discussion promises to be one of substance and enlightenment. Mr. Anil Roberts has impressed as a person with integrity, very forthright, very knowledgeable on the issues at hand.
I am certain after this exercise Dominicans will have a better appreciation for the importance of free and fair elections, and ones that are free from fear.
I listened keenly to Mr. Anil Roberts on the radio earlier today. Now I fully understand why the apostles and acolytes of Roosevelt are bombarding the airways an social media with their nasty, odious, spurious ad hominem attacks on this humanitarian. The good thing is a good number of Dominicans use discernment and realise the deception.
It is my fervent hope that the attendees and participants of this discussion/meeting will be energised and convince others to become active in the quest for legitimate general elections.
No surprise here coming from Mr. Know-it-all Ibo France. Glorifying Senator Anil Roberts who once headed a ministry that was infested with fraud and corruption from which he was forced to resign in disgrace. Is it deception to say that he was fired by PM Kamla Besessar because of the out of control corruption in his ministry. And how did Anil aquire all this integrity? Is it because he mirrors the UWP/Ibo France hatred for Skeritt and Dominica? What are his expertise in electoral reform?
Dennis Byron was the president of the CCJ and what did he give us? For $600 000, this experienced legal luminary gave us balderdash.
Mr. Anil Roberts gave the very receptive audience food for thought. The people left the discussion with a sense of purpose feeling very enthused and buoyed with a renewed sense of hope.
You and the inane detractors of Starboy of Stupidity-Lies-Corruption are trembling as the government of perennial scandals is about to fall apart.

DLP is without a shadow of a doubt the worst performing political party and government in the history of Dominica since adult suffrage.
