Miss Dominica contestant, Royhanna Martin, sashed Miss Instacash

Contestant number 3 in the Miss Dominica Pageant 2024, Royhanna Martin has been officially sashed as Miss InstaCash. Martin, who represents the vibrant community of Soufriere was sashed during the second Carnival press conference held on Thursday.

InstaCash is the latest game launched by the Dominica National Lottery (DNL). It was launched in March 2023 and to this date has been proven to be very popular with the patrons.

“The Dominica National Lottery is once again pleased to contribute to the development and furtherance of our cultural heritage,” Sales and Marketing Representative at the DNL Ken George said while delivering remarks at the ceremony. “This ceremony is testimony of the fact that we at the National Lottery take our mandate very seriously, that is supporting sports and culture and giving back in the communities.”

He described the gathering today as a momentous occasion as the company lends its support and makes a commitment to Royhanna Martin who will be a contestant in this year’s Queen pageant.

“We at the National Lottery had no hesitation to support Miss Martin since we are of the view that she possesses what it takes to emerge as Miss Dominica 2024,” he stated. “Her beauty, her charm, her intelligence poise left us with no choice but to endorse her and support her anticipation in this premiere event.”

In 2023 The Dominica National Lottery fully sponsored Miss Moesha Thomas and they are doing the same for this contestant in 2024.

“This speaks volumes to our willingness to promote our culture, heritage, and to give back to the communities and individuals who have been loyal to us over many years,” George indicated.

He made a special appeal to patrons to continue supporting the DNL in all its games.

“Many lives have been changed and have continued to change all because of the winnings in the various national lottery games,” George noted.

He also appealed to the business community, “to support our culture, support our customers, support our patrons because this support can go a long way in making Dominica what it is today.”

Meanwhile, Miss InstaCash thanked DNL for their full support. The Miss Dominica Pageant is carded for Thursday, February 8, at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium.
