Bishop of the Diocese of Roseau, His Lordship, Gabrielle Malzaire sympathizes with the people who have lost family members during the passing of Tropical Storm Erika which significantly affected Dominica on Thursday.

He expressed great concerns during a live report on State-owned DBS Radio earlier Friday afternoon.

Bishop Malzaire who at the time was in Canada said  he was about to make his way to the airport to make arrangements to get to Dominica through St Lucia or Martinique via the Ferry, since the main airport, the Douglas-Charles airport is closed until further notice.

“I am aware of the disaster and I am in great sympathy with the families that have lost members and I know it is a terrible time for the country and they are certainly in my prayers,” he said.

“I am coming back home so that we can do the best that we can to recover whatever needs to be done.”

According to Bishop Malzaire, he is aware of the situation in the Grandbay, Petite Savanne among other areas,   “I really see the need to return home right now.”

The Vatican is in Rome. How much are you, as a national going to help Dominica?
Some people like looking at others and speaking about others but not themselves. First, look at yourself and see how much you can help. Let others see about themselves and do what they feel like. In other words, mind your own business.
Furthermore, the Vatican has to assist the Catholic Churches, its Bishops and Priests worldwide. Believe me, under normal conditions, it is being done on a monthly basis, if not more frequently. When disasters strike more is done also for the country and nationals who are affected.
Since you do not think and know not what you stated, I advise you to keep quiet, leave the Vatican alone.
God is not amused. Do not mock His Church. It is this same harassment and persecution of the Catholic Church which result in disasters. You will do well to change your heart, lest your faculties be taken away from you.

An efficacious prayer that Catholics should know and teach others especially at a time as this. From the Diary of Sister (Saint) Faustina Kowalska and the book, Divine Mercy In My Soul.

    This morning as I thought of Dominica and nationals, I felt the urge to provide this prayer;

The Chaplet (Rosary) of the Divine Mercy:

Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.
For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One,
Have mercy on us and on the whole world (3 x).

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself. Amen!

I hope that you’ll take in some of the homeless. Take them into the mansion (hotel) that you alone reside in on constitution hill.
When I was hungry you gave me to eat, When I was thirsty you gave me to drink, When homeless you took me into your mansion so as to lay my head down.
Same as the pope. Standing in his mansion waving from one of many windows, calling on Europe to do more in assisting the migrants from the middle east. The question is, how many has he himself taken in but he is all for the poor. What a bunch of hypocrites.
Now a days all are christians but ain’t you’ll aware you got to do what HE command you to do other than that HE can’t be your LORD.
Why call ye me LORD LORD and do not the things that I say to do. MY friends are those that do that which I command them to do. Thus saith the LORD.
My friend you can’t come on your own terms, it won’t work.

Something is bothering you, eh. You are judging as if they do nothing and did you something.
You quote from the Bible and you do not act according to the Bible which is The Word of the Lord. You judge yourself. God knows your heart and your lifestyle. Your words are the words of the devil. You are the hypocrite. You really have the devil in you.
You have depicted that you are a hater, the enemy of the Catholic Church and its Hierarchy. One day you will pay for your words. Wait and see. It may come sooner than you expect.
The Lord will say the same to you. Why call Me Lord, Lord and not do what I do. Who are you? You wicked person, You have shown yourself to be. Your words give you away. Just whom and what you are. See about your soul and save it before you miss the boat of salvation and it is too late for you.

What have you done for Dominica or anyone in the world? You have an obligation to fulfill. Therefore go out and do so. Do not look at others. When you stand before God, for your judgment, He will not ask you about anyone. He will ask you about yourself. What have you done with the allotted God-given time He gave you? How well did you serve/treat others? Right now you are projecting an indifferent, ungodly attitude.
Some of you love to quote the Bible but do not live by it. Note your words. It appears you do not know the meaning of the following. Read and study them.
The Vigilant and Faithful Servant. The Parable of the Talents. The Judgment of the Nations.
You are in dire need of a change of heart from an ungodly one to a godly one. Pray for yourself; ask God pardon with a humble and contrite heart; make penance and sacrifice, restitution and perform acts of love in order that you will appease God that He may forgive you.
