You must have heard something about that. You made me laugh :) but I did take it seriously. Please read on and for the benefit of readers:

You set me thinking about the woman you stated is seen in Les Pointe. I expect that it is in the evening and around midnight to early hours of the morning which is when those spirits come out. They do not usually come out or are seen during the day.
I recall a family, one of them whom I visited in Les Pointe who lived on an estate. This estate could not be seen from the road. There is a walkway going up to it on the right hand side just prior to traveling/walking to under the cliff on the way to Mahaut. I do not know what it is like now and if it is motorable. People from Mahaut and especially from Massacre would probably know that area.
At that time I knew the father whom I assumed owned that estate. He had two daughters. I do not recall that he had sons. If he did, they probably were overseas. I was quite young when I visited there to see one of the daughters and a very nice person. I would spend a few hours there. When I was leaving I would be given mangoes if it was during the mango season. The father was also a nice, respectable man whom I greeted as ‘Mr…’
I did not know the father’s wife and believe that she died. I was younger then and so I did not ask questions or never thought of asking questions.
The father who has since died was fair-skinned. The father’s wife and her mother must have been a white person. This estate could have been handed down from generation to generation. The house was a big one.
The daughter whom I knew well was light-skinned with black, straight long hair. To my knowledge the descendants are not residing on that estate. It would be interesting to know who presently owns that property and resides there.
I do not know of any other estate at Les Pointe although there may be others on the way to that estate which I had not seen. You could say that it is in the interior of Les Pointe. People of a certain age may know more than I do.
What I recall, it is a small village with few people and a few prominent ones who were, of course, Catholics and whom I knew. There were times we would go bathing on the beach at Les Pointe.
You know in those days white people came from Great Britain and France and were then slave owners. My aunt told me that my great grandfather was a slave master. Just imagine. I would consider my aunt (never told her) as a white lady. She had long, straight hair. We are not from that area but I knew a few families in Les Pointe and would visit them. I would walk up to the estate which is a secluded area during the day/afternoons, sometimes all alone and never once saw anything and had no cause for alarm.
The last time I heard about the daughter whom I would visit on the estate she was still alive and well and residing in a village. Today, I do not know if she is still alive and well. I will enquire further from some people whom I know reside in Massacre and a few who reside in Toronto. As time went by I never thought of it previously. I would like to contact her, probably sometime when I visit DA, hopefully soon (whenever that is, God willing.) :) I hope she is OK.
There is no smoke without fire. I am surprised to hear that a white woman is being seen in Les Pointe. It is rather interesting. In the past, I have traveled there by vehicle in the evening and did not see anyone or heard anyone state that they saw this spirit. Those spirits also travel far and even overseas. Do not doubt that.
Prior to this accident, there have been a few accidents in Les Pointe, when turning the corner to and from Les Pointe. When I was a child, one early afternoon a relative of mine who was being driven died at that corner when traveling in that area. This was a sharp corner, a turning point. I do not know if this had anything to do with a spirit but sheer driver’s negligence.
I recall reading a few years ago about a young DA lady who worked at R.B.C. and died in an accident around that corner. Some of you may recall that. Her friend was flown to B/dos for treatment. I wonder if she is now better. This too was sad.
I have no idea whatever went on in Les Pointe in those days and why today a white woman is seen, no doubt at nights as in Pond Casse and a black one in Layou near Hillsborough, as I read on this Website. These are probably restless souls who may have met with some fate or injustice and are unhappy. We must pray for the repose of their souls that they may rest in peace. May God grant them peace and rest.

      @ B.E.B.

      “prefer”

Potholes and avoiding them could cause accidents. Aside from driving fast, I hope the driver was not under the influence or fell asleep at the wheel.

I did not know that. Every part of the world has such. No exception Toronto. Some people also brought their ungodly bad/evil habits to this country. It is for this reason I am not without Holy Water.
I know Les Pointe very well. Knew some nice, prominent people who resided there. They probably are still there or their descendants/ relatives. Have traveled and walked around there; visited some people in that area when I resided in DA.

I thought that ‘Point’ was spelt with an ‘e’. Les Pointe in French, en francaise. I do not have a French keyboard. :)

Perhaps when DNO happens on an accident scene ,or is sent information shortly after the accident occurred,it should refrain from publishing the vehicle number, until a reasonable time has elapsed.Think of a family member living in Roseau, who logs into DNO and is confronted with a relatives car identified by the number plate lying upside down in the road That family member, without thinking may jump in his car, with other family members , and go like a bat out of hell toward Les Point. Anything can happened.

      @ The Colonel

It could not be helped. Can you not see the manner in which the vehicle overturned? How many people can identify the vehicle and know the owner of the vehicle?
