What a gift we were given! Mr. Mendes left us numerous messages in song. He has made an impact on the lives of many. This is another man who did not get the recognition that he deserved while alive. Dominicans, we have lost a gentle giant, who we failed to express our gratitude to, for his excellent contribution to education and music. Let us all unite to celebrate his life. A special thanks to his family for his wonderful contribution to mankind. Be comforted in the Lord!

All that can be said,is he was a good man,a kind hearted man, who was genuine in all things he approached, even the response to Alex call,on carnival tuesday on DBS.I supported his statement, and question why some people would questioned it,and give him flax for that.I felt his pain at the time and hope that did not affected him.
