I must say that I was taken aback when I heard this news… I do pray that a speedy recovery will be eminent and that you will be back in the arms of your family soonest. Good comrade, we had some good times together…my paryers and that of the community of Paix-Bouche are with you in this most tragic, most difficult time. Be strong…I am confident that you have the strength to hold on…..

One of two things will happen…the lord will keep him here on earth because he has a greater purpose or the suffering will be too much and the good lord would rather send him in to peaceful rest. Either way, the lord’s plan is final!

      @ Ann

Accidents happen and will always happen. Some things are beyond our control. It is sad that this happened to him.
I recently read in an ethnic newspaper in Toronto that a Guyanese man who is residing in his homeland telephoned his barber for a haircut. He was feeling sleepy and decided to take a rest. Right then his barber telephoned him and said he is free and could he come for his haircut. He went. While he was in the barber shop someone came to him and told him that a tree fell on his house and went through the roof of the bedroom and landed on his bed. The man said were it not for the barber’s telephone call, he would have been dead.
The moral to this is, why do accidents happen? Why are some spared and others are not? There are so many other questions to be asked. Only God knows.
This weekend the sinking of the Titanic 100 years ago is being observed. Approximately 1,500 people died in that disaster. A few survived. I thought those who had survived then were fortunate. It is easy to ask why did some die and a few survived. After all they were all on the same ship.
In accidents, some escape unscathed when others die and/or were injured. Strange things do happen. These are only a few examples. We leave everything to God for only He knows. He has the answer.
I can imagine his family’s anxiety. Let us pray for him and also for them. May God heal him in time.

That news was very dreadful to all especially to the people in the communities of PAIX BOUCHE and DOS DANE. Our thoughts and prayers are with JORDAN.

Lord, I don’t always understand your ways. I don’t know why my friend has to suffer, but I trust you. I ask that you look with mercy and grace toward my friend. Nourish his spirit and soul in this time of suffering and comfort him with your presence.

Let my friend know you are there with him through this difficulty. Give him strength. And may you, through this difficulty, be glorified in his life and also in mine.

    Amen.

Jordon may need prayers for his injury but we Dominicans living in the BVI need prayers so God will deliver us from the verbal abuse from the BVIlanders and guide us safely back to our home land. Just trying to make a living yet so much hate and jealousy from these people. Lord help us.
Mr. Prime Minister please look out for your citizens so we don’t have to leave our home land to make a living or give our children a future.
