i am sad too hear that too
i wonder how he managed to fall over…anyways i wish him a speedy recovery…and best wishes to his family and friends…it breaks my heart when i hear sad incidents like this occur
hope he gets better
I want to know what he was doing at the moment he fell. I hope he didn’t do anything he wasn’t supposed to do. I hope he recovers very quick.
“In the weeee hours at night”
Really?? REALLY ??
It reads wee hours of Wednesday morning, you are in such ahurry to criticize you can’t take time to READ! smh.
I was thinking the same thing when i read the article..’wee hours in the morning’ come on…this could be rephrased better…Thank God i’M WELL EDUCATED
Sad, but i believe the guy fell asleep
lord i hope is not his pressure or sugar that cause his accident….i pray you will be alright
Hummm…..How something like that can happen. I am sad to hear it happened but now it raises questions, questions and more questions. Was he sleeping on the job. Not all security gaurds are fit for the position. I think platinum should check on the people they employ before take people to do these jobs. That is not an easy job especially if you work the night shift. The saddest thing about that is that the people are not paid properly, if you do not believe me, ask someone who works for any of the security firms. I do hope that person get help from platinum and recovers quickly.
what happen marpin that have more malee. people at marpin pray!!!!!!
You don’t know what happened but you making all sorts of assumptions. smh
where is my comment DNO
alas marpin have badlock wii boy. one after the other. papamet
Can’t you read? Why Marpin? He was an employee of Platinum Security assigned to Clear Harbour. It just so happened that Clear Harbour operates on the top floor of the Marpin building.
How sad. How did this happen? I hope he is not badly hurt and will soon recover.
I hope he’ll be ok and am wishing you a speedy
recovery.
Was it just last week that Mr. Leblanc was talking about the Labour laws being antiquated and the need for improved awareness of health and safety on the job? I guess much discussions will come out of this incident.
thank is so true. those employees need to provide more coverage for their workers.
satelite you are such a dummy. you dont even no what happen but you makin stupid assumptions like that. get facts. gou sh man!
Sorry to read this news i Pray he gets better soon..I cant under stand something i read in this story.Marpin rent out the top floor of the building to Clear Harbor, are things that bad with the company?
yea, clear harbor’s 3rd site is upstairs of Marpin. Marpin not using upstairs so what’s the problem? Wouldn’t you rent out a place of yours that you’re not using?? stupid
Jahyout, you just fell off the sky or what? Marpin has been renting this office space to Clear Harbour for soooooooo long.Get a life and leave Marpin alone.
bet he fell asleep on the job…
There you go asuming, you all need to be more sensitive to each other, whatever happened to the love and compassion that was trademark among Dominicans?
My dear friend, please pull through this…….the news rocked me.
does d/ca have OSHA?
Ask Leblanc, thats what he suppose to recommend
why the thumbs down??? It’s a simple question
By the way:
OSHA = Occupational Safety and Health Administraion
How can we have OSHA when we live in Dominica and not the US???? OSHA is a US agency
This is so funny, perhaps they thought of ‘OSHA’ in the patois sense to mean impertinent. I wondered the same thing when I read this story, does Dominica have any occupational safety laws which legally and medically protects an employee for on the job injuries? Hope this fellow recovers quickly, this has got to me a traumatic experience.
be* not me.
Mr. was sleeping on the job man?
That is strange. How did it happen. Hope that he is fine and will make a good recovery.
mayb he was a bit sleepy………….it not ez to jus stand 4 whole night or day na…………hope he gets well
I’ve always wondered about the length of time that security guards are on stag at any one time. Ideally to remain alert and refresh, the normal standard in the Services is 2 hours on and 4 hours off.
A las i hope that this person gets better soon.
Name please! SMH when I used to work there I was always wondering about that.
he was sleeping https://dominicanewsonline.com/news/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif
Oh dear! Thank God it was not worse. I pray that he will be given a clean bill of health.
Lord help him, speedy and safe recovery. Sad story
