It is with tremendous sadness that I learnt of the tragic death of the 5 young men of Penville.
It is no doubt a time of great pain for the immediate families of these young men, for the community of Penville and the entire Parish of Vielle Case. In fact, tragedies of that nature are causes of national sadness. We all are affected by such moments of deep sorrow.
On behalf of the Clergy, the Religious and faithful of the Diocese of Roseau, I offer my deepest condolence to the bereaved families of these five young men, and the entire sorrowing community of Vieille Case. May the souls of our brothers Rest In Peace.
As a community of believers, let us stay united in prayer for each other, especially the families most in need of consolation.
Condolences to the family
Dominicans gan forget about that after 3 days, we moving so fast down there is Die, Bury, Next…
Crap talk: In a small place like Dominica that matters; nevertheless, what about the hundreds of people who are killed everyday on Freeways, and on the streets of many major metropolitan cities in Europe, and in North, and south America?
What about the thousands who are slaughtered in Syria right at this very moment. If you knew the word of God, you might take time to give comfort to their relatives, that the Bible teaches “to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord!”
Death is inevitable no matter how it comes or what causes death; in proverbs we learn the old must die, while the young may.
“It is appointed on to men once to die, and after that is the judgment.” If you preached the word of God to the five departed, they may have already accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, hence they are in a much better place than existing in your political world.

Their death may seem horrible, but remember the Bible teaches we morn when a child is born, and rejoice when someone dies! And there is no point of thinking of untimely death, people die when God allows them to die!
Those of us who are still alive, if we have not yet accepted Jesus as or Lord and savior, and pray, and ask forgiveness for our sins this must be a reason to do so. I sympathies with their relatives, but I must also convey the body is dust, and must return to dust from which it came; the hope should be that they were in a relationship with God, and their soul and sprit are a at peace with God.
I am sorry to hear about this tragic accident which took the lives of the five young men. As you know shocking News as this spread quickly wherever we may be at the time. Some of us here in Canada and the US have discussed it and are deeply sorrowful. Words are not enough to express our sorrow. This is obviously a great loss. We can say five future generations and more are lost.
Our (my) heartfelt sympathy to the grieving family, the people of Vieille Case and others who knew them. May God sustain you at this time.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls rest in peace. Amen!
