Second traffic accident in Castle Bruce district

Dominica News Online can confirm that a second accident has been reported in the Castle Bruce area. The accident occurred at about 9:30 a.m on Saturday.

There were no fatalities, although an official has described it as ‘serious’.

The accident comes on the heels of a road fatality on Friday, the first for 2010.

Thirty-year-old Kelvin Toussaint lost his life on Friday when the vehicle he was traveling in veered off the road, and plunged into a valley.

The driver, Johnson Bannis, was on his way to Castle Bruce when the accident occurred. A second passenger, Keron Robin, sustained injuries.

Dominica News Online will provide you with more information on this new development in a subsequent report.

My condolences goes out the family of mr. kelvin toussaint and my prayers goes out the victims in these accidents. My advise to all drivers is to drive carefully on the roads especially in areas we all are not too well familiar with.
And please blow the horns round the corners.

My sincere condolences to everyone who felt that lost especially to the immediate family.

We should not wait for horrible things to happen to pray and ask for God’s protection- that should be a constant/continual state of affair – for ourselves, family, neighbourhood, Government and country. When we make statement like “nous fini bat” or we are finished is only bringing fear and confusion to a sad suituation. There are people who only love to report or make a sad/bad suitation worst by opening their mouth and declaring more bad stuff. We are not all finished – as long as God is on the throne and Jesus Christ is still interceding for all of us, we are going to be fine, but it is for us to remain steadfast and continue worship and adore him.

To Johnson Bannis – only God understand the way you feel – don’t blame yourself – remain steadfast in him and he will see you through.

Please drive more carefully to everyone where ever you are and don’t get angry at another drive when they are driving ridiculous.

    Love
    Marian Jno-Finn

Hairy bank, the road in Castle Bruce are of pretty good condition. These accident had nothing to do with road conditions, beit pot holes, high grass on the side of road or anything. The one of Friday still remains a mystery since different person are giving varying acounts as to what happened, the saturday morning accident, based on my oberservation, somebody took that corner too wide hence causing the collision.
