The Christian Union Church family joins the rest of the Nation in extending its deepest condolences and prayerful support to the members of the Haitian community on the devastation of their beloved country.
The church is deeply saddened by the events that are unfolding as a consequence of the earthquake and pray that Yahweh our comforter will comfort you in this troubled and difficult time. We are reminded in Psalm 47 that He is a very present help in times of trouble and will see you through.
The church is mobilising its resources to support the current fund raising drive and calls upon all its members to give generously to this effort. Further, the church is pledging its continued support to the Haitian brethren on the Island, and those in Haiti, through this crisis.
The church further encourages its members to pray for the Haitian people and the Aid-workers assisting with the recovery efforts in Haiti.
May the peace of God be with you always.
