In what has become an annual tradition in Dominica, Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit delivered his 45th Anniversary of Independence message during the National Day Parade event at Windsor Park on November 3, 2023.

For the most part, the Prime Minister used the occasion to outline some of the current plans and programmes of his government, touching on the areas of social welfare, health, housing, energy, agriculture, infrastructural projects, and other aspects of economic development.

What a joke, new feeder roads? you can’t fixed the existing ones, you want to build new ones? Look at tht mopo road in Grand Bay, the road was built by the Freedom party administration in 1987.

Take a ride and go see the condition of the road, 36 years later. 45 years of independence, and the people ŵho worked the hardest to achieve it has nothing to show for it. Remember your history, look back at past administrations since independence.

The village of Grand Bay benefit from voting for the opposition. freedom Party, Grand Bay New hospital, widening of the Grand Bay Road, the mopo Road. UWP, new secondary school, petite Savan road and now we give you the one mànwealth administration, working from AM to PM build police station, closed the Agricultural Centre., and using prime Agricultural land to build houses for boys.

Oh boy, he’s beginning to look like Linton.
Took 2 of Linton’s major ideas, airport, and the other he’s waiting✋️ on the churches to allow farmers to open a new industry producing beneficial oils for export and feed themselves, as St Vincent and Grenada already do. However, it doesn’t matter who thought of it first, just do it whether churches on board or not. It’s AGRICULTURE, farmers are waiting.

The PM used the occasion to outline some of the current plans for the country. Where are the finished products?
*Geothermal energy – stuck in the pipeline
*International Airport – clogged in the pipeline
*Food Security/Agriculture Enhancement – blocked in the pipeline
*Roseau Enhancement Project – cemented in the pipeline
*New brand and expansive port facilities – fastened in the pipeline
*Proper Feeder Roads and New Network of Roads wedged in the pipeline
*Political Unity under Starboy of Stupidity – trapped in the pipeline
All these plans are permanently embedded in the pipeline.

Today, many intelligent and talented citizens are barred by Roosevelt led administration from contributing to national development because of the political victimization propagated by Starboy of Stupidity.

Making plans for your country’s development without your most talented and erudite human resources is like making spaghetti without a pot.
