The Hurricane Watch and the Tropical Storm Warning for Dominica was discontinued from 11:00 o’clock this morning.
“The All Clear will be in effect from 11:00 am, and normal activities can resume,” Prime Minister Skerrit wrote in a Facebook post.
“We thank the Almighty for his mercies. May God continue to bless us all,” the Prime Minister added.
The ‘All Clear” announcement came as good news to the general public and the commercial sector in particular as a heavy police presence had to be deployed at the Roseau Market this morning to ensure that vendors there did not engage in their usual trade.
In an interview with State-owned DBS Radio this morning, Minister for National Security, Rayburn Blackmore, also announced the resumption of normal activity but advised of the possible issuance of a Flood Watch from 6:00 p.m. today.

I am.such an uneducated person. i seem to dont know the meaning of “ALL CLEAR””. What causes flooding? If flooding is as a result of excess rain, then why give the all clear and institude a flood watch? Am i not an idiot for not understanding the meaning of all clear? just asking!!
