Be More Mentorship Foundation to host first Chances Award Ceremony

 

Roseau, Dominica – July 6, 2023: The Be More Mentorship Foundation will host the first-ever award ceremony for the staff and children of Chances on Wednesday, July 19, 2023.

The event will be held under the theme: “Be More Today, Blossom Tomorrow”, and will commence at 3:30 pm at the Mahaut Community Center.

The Be More Mentorship Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Dominica, has streamlined its resources to focus on the Chances Home for Children for the year 2023. In that regard, a number of activities have been held to date, and the next activity on the calendar is the 2023 Chances Post-Academic Year Awards.

At this event, 30 awards will be presented, including 13 Secondary School Awards, 14 Primary School Awards, and 3 Staff Awards.

The ceremony will also update the media on upcoming events for Chances and the Be More Mentorship Foundation, with Be More CEO Kelshire Charles will be the featured speaker.

This event is being held in recognition of the important work of the Chances Home for Children and highlights the role that such organizations play in nation-building. It is also a recognition of the accomplishments of the wards of Chances, who continue to excel despite life’s hurdles.

About the Organization: The Be More Mentorship Foundation is a non-profit social organization founded in Dominica in 2021, and is focused on the holistic development of children – more specifically, a dedication to assisting disadvantaged youth. The Foundation aims to increase access to education and career guidance through mentorship and coaching programs, job attachments, and job training.
