BUSINESS BYTE: Top Avon representatives recognized

ROSEAU, Dominica, June 22nd, 2013 – Four of the top Avon Representatives and their guests, ranked as the top sellers of Avon products in Dominica were recognized on Saturday night at the Sunset Bay Club & Hotel in Salisbury on the West Coast. The theme of the evening was “Be Celebrated as Avon’s Best” and formed part of Avon’s President’s Recognition Gala for 2012-2013.

“This is a highly anticipated annual event to which the top Avon Representatives of Dominica, anticipate with excitement as Avon seeks to richly reward the accomplishments of top performers over the prior year. This is the celebration evening where these award winners are honored with special trophies, crafted and inscribed gifts in their honor and special pre promotional products not available to the general public. “Many of our Representatives were promoted to the enviable category of a much higher sales and commissions. Dominica experienced a significant growth in this top sellers group making for a healthy competitive and lucrative future for this popular line of products” said Chief Executive Officer of O.D. Brisbane & Sons (Dominica) Ltd/Avon Consultant, Ms. Susan Watty.

The delicious three course dinner was interspersed with tributes, lively presentations of special raffle giveaways as well as brief speeches, and toasts from the Representatives themselves. The President’s Club/Honor Society representatives are: Mrs. Debra Charles, Ms. Annette Henry, Mrs. Victoria Joseph and Ms. Angela Abraham.

Avon’s District Sales Manager for Dominica, Mrs. Greta Dahl-Keith traveled to Dominica to personally attend to the event and spoke to how Avon as a company empowers women to improve their standard of living, honors such passionate spirits and the representatives at the meeting attested to that fact that Avon Products had done just that.  Avon is incredibly impressed with how the people of Dominica appreciate and embrace the Avon earning opportunities as well as the fabulous product line. Mrs. Keith started the celebration event at the Fort Young Hotel on Thursday evening with some forty attendees who attended a Fashion show held in honor of the President’s Club members.

The culmination of the busy celebration week was by joining the Q95 radio show to proudly broadcast once again the inspirational achievements of these amazing entrepreneurs and their local Zone Manager Ms. Nicole Shillingford.
