Beacon Insurance rebrands

Director of Beacon Insurance Christian Hadeed addressing the function

Beacon Insurance company has been explaining why it felt the need to rebrand its product.

Director Christian Hadeed told a rebranding ceremony on Thursday that the company felt it was necessary to make the change because “we can never stop growing and evolving if we are to remain true to our guiding principles.”

“It represents one milestone we started four years ago,  we recognize we had to redefine our brand expression so that our visual identity remains in sync with the progress and changes we made,” Hadeed, who is also the company’s Senior Operations Executive,  said.

Beacon Insurance hired a consultancy team from the University of the West Indies to facilitate the process.

The consultants  looked  at the structure of the business with a view to promoting more effective delivery to customers.

According to the company, the process involved revamping its compensation structure and implementing a very transparent career path, so that each employee knew exactly how they can progress through the organization.

Hadeed said the next step was to review their internal processes and align them with the needs of the customers.

He said also, that their technology platform also played a significant role since it was viewed as a key enabler to service delivery, and enhancing productivity and effectiveness.

Beacon’s range of insurance coverage includes Motor Vehicles, property, liability, marine, and accidents.

Headquartered in Port of Spain, the company currently has branches in Barbados, Grenada, St Kitts and Nevis, St Vincent and Dominica.
