Businessman Jerry Brisbane has called a press conference to discuss what he described as “The State Palace a.k.a. State Malice project” on Tuesday, February 15.
The conference is expected to be carried live on all radio stations and will also discuss “other issues.” Television and print media personnel are also expected to be in attendance.
It will be held in the boardroom of Brisbane’s company, O.D. Brisbane and Sons
Brisbane gained national attention when he revealed that he had written to the European Union and China concerning monies spent by the state given by donor institutions and nations.

Government should ban the press conference
What is it about Jerry and politics and if he ran for election – so to call a press conference in Dominica one has to be a politician or one has to be representative of some constituency; My frieds anybody can call a press conference you do not have to be whatever. I mean where are those fools come from Dominica! Can’t believe what I am reading – if we should use the same argument these dotish people using then the question is -is Parry Bellot a politician he called a press conference ……I mean stop being fools.
I personally will love to hear what Jerry has to say because lately he sounds more genuine and honest than most of the politicians I hear on the Radio and TV.
I agree with those who have note that Mr. Brisbane has every right to his opinions. I for one have a bit of difficulty in understanding his agenda, but it is his right to speak.
Isn’t Jerry among those (francis, matt, lennox, Angelo, Ron, Eddo, Thompson, Gaboo, Finn etc) who claim that there is a “deafening silence” about developments in Dominica? isn’t he Jerry speaking and writing at will? Last week Jerry announced that he was “rebalancing” his weekly media appearances on “Q” to spend more time digging up on whether there was any planning permission to construct the new state house. It is his right. He has the time, having retired from his business before he reaches the age of fifty. That man does not know what it is to struggle on a daily basis for bread and butter.
