A number of key stakeholders from Dominica’s lubricants market now have a greater understanding and appreciation of the technology and benefits of the Shell range of lubricants.

This follows a short series of Shell Lubricants Training Workshops recently held for participants including auto-mechanics, auto-parts dealers, and other lubricant resellers. The workshop was hosted by SOL EC LTD., in association with its Dominican distributor H.H.V. Whitchurch & Co. Ltd..

Delivering introductory remarks at the Garraway Conference facility where the workshops were held, Deborah Edward, Sales & Marketing Manager, SOL EC LTD., thanked participants for attending and urged them to use the experience to equip themselves with a greater knowledge of the attributes of Shell lubricants.

“Shell continues to be recognised as the world’s number one lubricants manufacturer, and as end users we need you to be constantly improving your knowledge of the correct application for the quality range of Shell lubricants. This is important to help you make appropriate recommendations as you assist consumers in making informed choices when they purchase Shell lubricants,” Edward said.

Damian Whitchurch-Aird, a Director of H.H.V. Whitchurch & Co. Ltd.., welcomed the Participants to the Shell Lubes Training Workshop, reminding them that Shell has been in Dominica’s market for more than 60 years.  He mentioned the fact that Shell is working to highlight the Shell brand of Lubricants, which are recognized worldwide as being exclusively used by major car manufactures such as Audi, Mercedes and Ferrari.  In closing, he thanked the Participants for attending and looks forward to the continued partnership with all Resellers of Shell Lubes.

Trainer Michael Merritt, the Sol Group Lubricant Technical Advisor, said the training had been held as part of Sol’s continuing commitment to providing value to customers of Shell lubricants in Dominica.

“Sol readily identifies with the commitment to exceptional customer service which Shell Lubricants continues to champion as the world’s leading supplier of high quality motor oils. We are committed to continuing to deliver training and workshops such as this, which we see as integral to ensuring that customers have the benefit of knowledge and informed recommendations as they seek to choose the best lubricants for their particular vehicle application,” Merritt said.

Shell Helix motor oils are distributed in Dominica by H.H.V. Whitchurch & Co. Ltd.., agents for SOL EC LTD. Sol uses the Shell brand under license across its regional Shell Service Station network and is the authorised distributor of Shell lubricants, which are fully backed by Shell’s world-class technical expertise.
