DAPD holds Annual General Meeting July 4

The Dominica Association of Persons with Disabilities (D.A.P.D. Inc.) holds its 27th Annual General Meeting on Monday July 4, 2011.

The Meeting’s theme is: Ensuring the Full and Equal Enjoyment of all Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms by all Persons with Disabilities in Dominica.

Among items on the Meeting’s agenda are:
•    An address by Dr. Francis Severin, Head of UWI Open Campus on: Equality and Non-Discrimination in Education.
•    An address by the Parliamentary Representative for the Roseau Central Constituency, Hon. Norris Prevost.
•    The Executive Committee 2010 Annual Narrative Report
•    2010 Audited Financial Statement
•    Elections

There will also be a financial donation from Kairi FM Radio from the proceeds of the Walk and Smile Hike which took place on Sunday June 5, in observance of World Environment Day.

The meeting will be held at the Public Service Union Centre on valley Road, Roseau, commencing at 9:30 a.m.

    typo their dissabilities are VERY different.

    Skerrit et al ought tobe members. They are indeed sick individuals.I take that back they should have an association of their own.There disabilities are different.
