LIAT Just Go deals not a new initiative

LIAT says recent reports in sections of the media that it has changed its fare structure as a result of the fare strategy of other airlines are inaccurate.

Corporate Communications Manager Desmond Brown said that LIAT’s ‘Just Go’ initiative which was recently published in the media highlighting its lowest fares has now been in place for more than three years.

“LIAT has always been cognizant of the need of its customers and developed ‘Just Go’ and similar programmes where passengers may obtain significantly reduced fares,” he said.

“For more than three years now we have been advertising our ‘Just Go’ fares online, in the media and in our City Ticketing Offices. The ‘Just Go’ product was not implemented as a result of competitive activity but is a seasonal initiative undertaken by LIAT.”

The Corporate Communications Manager said that customers visiting www.liat.com as well as subscribers to LIAT’s e-newsletter would no doubt be familiar with the ‘Just Go’ product.

Lie-at incompetent, unreliable and too expensive. How could a country depend on one airline for any serious air tranport? No wonder the Dominican goverment is not interested in an airport that could accomodate better and more competent airlines.I’ve given up on Dominica for any serious development as long we have this masses of ignorance dominating the list of electors, the government in power represents the masses of ignorance.

That is very correct. I have booked many a “Just Go” fare in the past few years. They are significantly lower, but since they are very limited, they are not always available.

I am not a fan of liat at all. but i am a fan of honesty. whoever said that this is new apparently has never traveled. cause liat has been ding that for years. we in the media please let not go down the road of not doing our research before we speak. cause if any one had done research just for one minute they would know that this is in no way shape or form new.

What is the “just go” deal? A little background information would be helpful.
