Sorry! I realized it is a local company. We are soaccustomed to non-local enterprises that it slipped my mind when writing my comment.

For Dominica, thats a very good thing!! I totally see this helping out
Job seekers… in states however, every job is being post “online”
And it very frustrating as often times you never even receive a call
Because of the many applicants applying… but I see it working great
    For Dominica.. GOOD JOB!

You first have to lobby the employers to place their job advertisements on your Website.
It is not specified if this enterprise is stationed and operated in Dominica Please inform your users if it is a local enterprise. We do know that employers who advertise will financially compensate you. It is not free for them but free for applicants.
All the same, it is an excellent idea which is open to international job seekers. The preference should first be given to Dominican applicants based on their credentials and experience.
May you not perpetrate age-discrimination. Those applicants who are healthy have much to offer in terms of capability, experience and deportment.
Good luck in your/this endeavor! I consider it worthwhile and visualize it will be successful.

    • YOU ARE BAD STATS
      November 17, 2015

THE WEBSITE IS FREE FOR BOTH JOB SEEKERS AND EMPLOYERS, employers get to POST JOBS ABSOLUTELY FREE.

Not a bad stats. How am I or other users to know how this Website is operated and by whom? We assume that someone will be paying for it.
These days nothing is free and few, if none at all can afford to freely operate with no incoming funds/compensation. Somehow it has to pay for itself. Otherwise what is the use of operating it unless the owner/management is well-off?
Is it a non-profit organization, probably funded by an enterprise or the government? Simply inquiring.
An afterthought, probably advertisers (not employers) will bear the cost. This is what keeps Websites operational.

LOL. What a laugh. I have been monitoring the newspapers, I need a job Dominica and the small projects team website, and in 4 months, only 3 vacancies were available. This is just another waste of time initiative. If the country is not creating employment and the economy is so tough on employers, where are these vacancies being created? Good luck with that. Young people, learn to sew, plumbing, electrical, construction because right now, BSc, MBAs and the like are useless in Dominica. I cry for this nation.

Consider what Dominica recently went through with TS Erika.
Consider how many will be applying for jobs.
Dominica is not a big country. I suppose the government is not hiring or not as many new staff.
Keep checking the Website and the newspaper. One day you may be successful.
You may also have to do some networking. Word of mouth could prove to be effective
Oh! Do not forget to pray for one, with confidence. It may not occur overnight or soon but it will, sooner than you expect.
Keep up the faith and hope. Nothing beats a failure but a trial.
And you know, if at first you do not succeed, try again and keep trying.
      Patience! Good luck!
