Three Antiguan men accused of the shooting death of Dominican Dorothy Prince will finally have their day in court.

The case will be heard in the Antigua High Court during the January 2014 criminal assizes.

Gideon Jackson, Timorie Elliot and Omarie ‘Boots’ Phillip are facing the charges of murder and aggravated robbery.

They appeared in court last week.

Another man, Deon ‘Ticks’ Thomas, was also charged but he fell ill while in custody and died in prison.

Prince, formerly from Grand Fond, was shot three times on February 17, 2012 during a robbery at a gas station in Antigua where she worked as a pump attendant.

The men made good their escape in a heavily tinted car with $5,200.

The mother of two succumbed to her injuries on February 18, 2012.

So that’s how much a human life is worth, $5,200.00????? Why would anyone rob a gas station and shoot a female gas pump attendant three times???
These men if found guilty should never see daylight AGAIN!!!!!!

It would have been so honourable of him, ‘Ticks’Thomas that is, if he would have told the story of what happened before his death. So sad that this lovely young Dominican woman should have lost her life in such tragic circumstances and leaving behind two young children to be raised without their mother’s love. So, so sad. These men, if they are guilty, should be ashamed of themselves to the point where they themselves make it clear who was responsible and give a true account of that which took place on that terrible occasion. May the good Lord bless and keep this young woman’s children safe and always under his wings and may she have a special place in heaven with the angels. May she rest in peace, amen…..

Don’t ask for the impossible… Justice…sigh. For this part of it to work out, as a human u would have to give in to your truer nature, betrayal of the right path, and torture them. Go at it till they stop begging for death.

Don’t wanna stereo-type, but this is the “under” culture of Antigua. D/ca too safe, so we not expecting this kinda thing, “randomly” occuring.

My heart hurts for Dorothy Prince, who was shot during that robbery. How she suffered. Then she was deprived of her life and her children. They also, deprived of their mother and her love. They will always miss her. I visualize how difficult it is for them to bear. I expect her children are well-taken care of.
These three criminals are heartless people. What would some people not do for a few dollars?
Deon ‘Ticks’ Thomas went to his eternal judgment. Thou shalt not steal and kill. Two grievous/mortal sins against God’s Commandments which warrant eternal banishment and punishment.
Imagine they killed her to get $5,200. The money is all gone and they are imprisoned; one dead and is in eternity, no doubt paying for his crimes for all eternity.
I am not concerned that they will put the blame on Deon. All three of them planned to commit the crime. Therefore, all three are responsible and should take the blame, killing a mother with two young children and stealing from the business proprietor. I hope they pay the full price. We will hear more.

Rest in God’s Peace, Dorothy. God will take care of your children through your loving relatives and as you look down on them and ask him to do so. He is not blind, deaf nor sleeping.
