Antigua police withhold post mortem results of Alwin Robin

Robin was shot execution style in Antigua

Police in Antigua have withheld the results of a post mortem examination of Dominican Alwin Robin, who was shot on that island recently.

Media reports from Antigua indicate that an examination of Robin’s body was done by a doctor on Wednesday and a death certificate was issued stating the cause of death.

However, the Antiguan police have refused to disclose the nature or the conclusion of the examination citing the nature of the investigations.

Robin, who owned Club DVD Sounds based in Marigot, was shot execution style along with another Dominican Alix Riviere, in an area called Cedar Valley. Robin had been in Antigua for about a week before he was killed.

The police have reported that cocaine worth millions of dollars was found in the house where the two were killed. However, they also said that no definite connection had as yet been established between the drugs and the dead men.

No one has yet been charged in the matter.

Dominican Drug Dealers = Bling Bling, Partying, Flashy Lifestyle, Flossing, Smoking, Drinking

Foreign Drug Dealers = Hardcore Killers, Hitmen, Military Trained, Fit, Cold Blooded, Heartless, Low Profile.

No wonder the killing off Dominicans so easily.

Hi wise one. Here is a bit of advice. For a “wise one” you really need to go read a book. REAP means to harvest. RIPPED means to tear. Are u saying that Alwin tore what he sowed? Oh by the way SEWis what u do with a needle and thread. By the way when your neighbour’s house is on fire, throw water on yours. You are just jealouse that he’s from Marigot and he was Skerrit’s buddy

“The Antiguan police have refused to disclose the nature or the conclusion of the examination citing the nature of the investigations.”
Who are they trying to protect? The drug dealers/ murderers or themselves in order to avoid incriminating their own?
Everyone have been speculating just as I am doing now about who the killers are. But with this kind of response from the police, it leaves me to wonder whether they themselves are not part of the fiasco. Coming to think about it, aren’t handcuffs basically police accessories?

I am hoping that the investigators are checking the phones ( try to get the recordings, texts, voice mails from the phone companies) of each and everyone who had connections with both Alwin & Alix during this period esp. the landlord, recipient of that particular call from the landlord, also the call that Alix received when he left his job that day,.if the landlord said he was trying to get Alwin for the last 24+ hours then i guess he sent a text or left a voicemail on Alwin’e phone if he was soooo worried when he didn’t reach him right?….put all the pieces together something must make sense, phone calls can lead to a lot of discoveries i’m just saying…i am a strong believer that the landlord knows a lot that went down….

just reading the info I pictured that the reviere guy was kidnapped, badly beaten because he refused to give robin’s domicile to those bandits. his resistance was so intense that he was handcuff , foreseeing his death he surrender the info to the bandits who went with revieres lifeless body to where robin was, robin was greeted with 1 bullet as the door was open, the bandits did just that and left, had they entered and search would have delayed their expedition and would certainly give some evidence or quicker resolve to the crime. in due time justice will be serve.

It seems to me that with all the recent killings of Dominicans in Antigua, and the inept approach of so called investigaters, is leaving a bitter tase in my mouth. Are the saying to us that it is open season on Dominicans. At some point elected representative should get together to get at the root of this problem. Will Antigua stop murdering my people, will Guadelope stop the killing of my people, for God sake.

    October 19, 2012

Everyone on here is speculating, and that is unfortunate. This story can be spun in so many was that we may never get to the bottom of if. Be glad that the drugs did not make it to Dominica to cause more devastation, and although unfortunate no more lives were lost in this exchange. Again this is very unfortunate, pray for the families and friends of the deceased, and let everyone take this as a lesson – whether you are still in the game or no longer the game never leaves you.

You are correct, however, whether the drugs came to Dominica or elsewhere, it would still have devastating effects. It may line someones pocket with cash but, while robbing others of quality of life. Once thing I am certain of is that the drugs was not for personal use. There is no way to know with a 100% certainty that the victims where in anyway connected to the drugs, but again I will say with confidence that the murders was a warning/message from the drug lords.

Oh so you think repentance is accepted at the point of death..so it’s like live a dirty life and them repent when you about to die…Look man its not so…we can fool each other but we cant fool God. Remember Pharaoh also repented when he saw death.

        October 19, 2012

Probably the murderers came searching for the drugs but could not find it. If only I knew the truth. This is what is making all of us curious as to the circumstances and result of their death and are anxious that they be solved.
I continue to feel sad that they died in such a manner; that they died at all at such a young age and under the circumstances. May their souls rest in peace.
I pray that the murderers will be caught. Let us all fervently pray unceasingly to Our patient God that those heartless perpetrators will be caught soon. A simple, short prayer will do. Lord please help!

It is strange that such an amount of cocaine was found in the house after their death. Would the perpetrators not have taken the cocaine? Why did they murder them? It is a mystery. Rest assured that our God knows who committed these murders and the reason(s) why. The Holy Spirit scrutinizes all our works, in thoughts, words and deeds. The names of the murderers are written in the Book of Damnation. They will not escape the wrath of God. May this be the departed families’ consolation and ours.

Do not worry. Have no anxiety. To a certain degree they are resting in peace; probably have to make atonement in Purgatory but they are saved. Pray for their souls. God is good, loving, compassionate, merciful and forgiving.
If you are especially a Catholic Christian, pray the Eternal rest prayer in addition to: “Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, once in agony, have pity on the dying.” If we pray it consistently, daily whenever we remember to pray it throughout the day wherever we may be, many souls will be saved.
A holy nun since departed, St. Faustina Kowalska of Poland who received messages from Our Lord Jesus Christ, as stated in the book, Divine Mercy In My Soul: “Only in Heaven you will know what it is to save souls.” Therefore, we do what God expects of us and leave the rest to him.
We Christians are all in the salvation army – God’s Army. God bless you and console you!

      • October 22, 2012

        @Justice and Truth..

J&T, according to the young folks, really though?!! You actually believe what your wrote eh? Why do we tend to think that because God is loving and merciful, anything just slides by? Just FYI…God is a God of Judgement, wrath and anger as well. If you are waiting to reach heaven to know if you are saved or not, darling may God through his spirit have mercy and draw you unto him.. else your living here on planet earth will be totally in vain. “For what will it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Mark 8:36. Give some meditation to this! God bless you for doing so.
