The Police have charged Patrickson Moses, also known as ‘Gravity,’ of Kingshill for the 2011 death of Henry ‘Wassinpac’ Raphael.
Raphael’s lifeless body was discovered at New Town on April 17, 2011, and police began investigating the matter.
Police PRO, Inspector Pellam Jno Baptiste said the investigation has concluded and ‘Gravity’ was charged with murder in the matter on Friday, June 30.
This is the third murder charge preferred against ‘Gravity.’
On Wednesday, June 28, he was charged with the murder of Flavian Bellot, whose lifeless body was discovered on May 18th, 2017, on the River Bank in Roseau, in the vicinity of an area locally known as ‘Washington’ at around 4:00 am.
On Monday, June 26, he was charged with murder for the death of Anderson ‘Andy’ Carbon.
Carbon’s body was discovered on the sea defense wall at the Bay Front in Roseau at around 4:00 am on Friday, June 23.
‘Gravity,’ a vagrant, is well known on the streets of Roseau.
It is certainly easy to pin all the murders on someone who is mentally ill and probably doesn’t know what he is doing most of the time. Easy solution for the police.
Just because he is charged doesn’t mean he is guilty…The burden is on the state to prove his guilt. Everyone looking for evidence: you know very well none of that can be presented till his court case.
If he kills all these people I hope the killings will stop. If not and the killings continue he might not be the real killer.

They keep telling the public he is charged for the three separate crimes; however they fail to inform the public what evidence they accumulated in order to associate him with the homicides!
Question: Did the alleged murderer confess, or admit to any of the killings?
Did an accomplice come forward; or there is a n anonymous eyewitness to even one of the murder. There is something suspicious about his arrest, and the blame for three murders.

Gravity was worst than Dominicans who knew him could have fathomed. Silently he was on a rampage of death. If he has mental problems, he would not think twice to keep up his trend.

Based on these murder charges, I do not think that Gravity will be ever out on the streets again unless he runs away. The authorities of where he will be sent must keep their eyes on him.

He should be questioned. That is what an investigation is all about. If he is questioned and he has ample sense, he will respond to the questions. If someone is questioned and replies, yes, then something could be wrong with his mind unless he is smart enough to say yes so as not to implicate himself. He should have lawyer representation when he is questioned.

I think they should charge Gravity for killing the economy too. They have charged him for about 20% of the murders in Dominica.

In the interest of justice for past murders they should also see that Gravity has the best criminal lawyer available. To wrongly convict a mentally ill vagrant for past unsolved murders may be a way to close the files but it does not get justice for past victims or take killers off he street.
I have seen online statistics that over 40% of serial killers have homosexual issues. In reporting serial murders the media often avoids mentioning this involvement in specific cases because they do not want a backlash from the gay community so it is considered politically incorrect.

I will not address any specific case here. But I do know in some crimes demon possession is involved. Some pastors know nothing about spiritual warfare. They are more interested in holding their jobs than in helping people. Religious programs and entertainment substitute for the anointing and spiritual gifts in many churches. What is needed is the demonstration of the power of God and a first century true-to-the-word deliverance ministry.

The police department should be forcing government to home these mentally ill individuals because it is a burden on them. Recruit some young physically fit people to work with these people because by God they get some extra strength when they are sick. Well built facilities different section for men and women. While we must commend the Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force for solving these heinous crimes and arresting the accused, it should be noted that the latest charges against “Gravity” implies that he is a serial killer who has been on the loose for more than SIX years now! The question, therefore, that must be asked is: are there more victims out there???? “Gravity” has been charged with three murders going far back as 2011. The last two allegedly occurring in May and June of this year. Did he stop killing for six years and then suddenly resumed in the last two months? What was his Modus Operandi? Did he attack his alleged victims while they slept? Did his alleged victims all share some kind of similar characteristics, such as being vagrants, sleeping outside at night or being in an altercation with the accused prior to their deaths? Apparently there are more questions than answers following these charges.

He is charged with three murders. He must be under arrest. I have no fear once it is proven in Court that he murdered the men, he will be put away be it in prison or in the asylum. Every past case within a reasonable scope of time where the same M.O. was used I expect will be reviewed.
There is a standard text book procedure followed in determining the identity of a serial killer. It is more reasonable to believe he killed more than three than to believe he went six or seven years between strikes.
