BREAKING NEWS: Kenrick Tyson guilty of murder

Tyson is facing a murder charge
Tyson found guilty of murder

It took a nine member jury of 8 women and 1 man just over three hours to return a unanimous guilty of murder on Kenrick Tyson.

Tyson was accused of murdering Cecil James in 2009. He was found guilty and sentenced to life in jail but appealed the matter and his conviction was quashed by the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court (ECSC) because of errors committed by the judge in her summation.
The ECSC ordered a re-trial which started on April 20, 2015.
Tyson will be sentenced on May 22nd 2015.

tyson being charged solely for the murder of mr james is a great injustice. he had an accomplice who was supposed to be charged jointly with him instead she was used as state witness.has anyone taken into consideration that the girl could actually be the murderer? what happen to the term aiding and abetting?

Fine! I am happy that this man was found guilty, yet 8 women and 1 man? This jury has no balance! Why not 4 men and 4 women?

Jury selection is done at random right infront your eyes. The names are spun and picked up and called just like a draw. The accused, his lawyer as well as the state representative has a right to oppose a juror when selected. If there is no opposition then that juror stays. So Jury selection is not done at the whims and fancies of anyone.

Twice I was notified for jury duty. Of course, there is a process prior to being chosen. I did not go. At the interview I would have made my point clear that I would not make a good juror for I am partial to criminals/murderers.
No joking! These people are a menace to society. They disrupt our lives; take away our happiness, peace of mind and place fear into us and much more.
They steal, they harm, they kill and they get the best of attorneys, paid for by taxpayers. From my point of view, it is not fair. I would send them all to jail and some for life.

I hope you are not suggesting that women are not equally able to provide a verdict. We are not a sharia country and women are equal to men under our law, as it should be. Gender has not role in the dispensing of justice.

It bothers me when people are wicked. Admonish, quarrel and reprimand but do not touch your fellow people and by no means with the intention to murder, to snuff out their life.
I will never comprehend why some people have it in them to commit murder. It is also termed as heartlessness.
Everyone has a conscience but he failed to utilize it, causing him to be branded as a man without a conscience. He bludgeoned the sleeping man to death. His victim did not stand a chance of defending himself.
This murder was premeditated. He tried to place it on his girlfriend. I hope he gets the maximum sentence and that there will be no more appeals.
Depriving people of their life is depriving them of their human rights and their right to life. You take it upon yourself to murder. You should not kill. You are not God.
After the earthly Law deals with you, God will punish you severely, forever to eternity, if you do not repent with a humble and contrite heart and do penance.

One less murder to roam free and terrorize others. Good riddance!!!

That should include some really hard labor. It’s time to get the “Chain Gang” going again. Roseau is much too dirty to allow these murders to get fat in Stockfarm on the backs of the tax payers. Sentence them to hard labor.
