UPDATE: Chopping victim undergoes surgery

Victim's hand on the ground.

Eighteen-year-old Brian Francis aka Weepee of St. Joseph is now a patient of the Princess Margaret Hospital after his left wrist was severed by a 17-year-old male from that community during an alleged dispute over scissors at around midday Tuesday.

According to police reports, the attacker has not yet been caught. The authorities are seeking the assistance of his parents in the matter.

Francis, according to reports, underwent surgery.

A resident, speaking on condition of anonymity, informed Dominica News Online (DNO) that the young men were allegedly arguing over a scissors on “Back Street” when Francis’ hand was attacked.

“The victim ran home, indicated by the splattered gate…. His family members then took him to the hospital,” the resident told DNO.
It is alleged the men have been feuding for a while now – feuds that have resulted in injuries from a particular altercation. However, it is further alleged that the men settled their differences before it reached the court. Both have been seen hanging out together but according to residents “they never seem to agree since they had never fully resolved the previous incident”.

The resident said “trembling police” arrived on the scene and bagged the severed hand.

Humph…iz it a joke now…..about a scissors, Really Dominica….really?!? Well at least the young man didn`t loose his life, I think we should say thank God for that.

But i think the police are getting the hint now…we need to inform the youth that violence isnt the answer, it never is. I am just too disappointed in the youth, no example to the young ones coming into this world now.

BUT, there are those who are NOT part of this violence and what not and I think we should commend them for that.

And please people stop being so negative

Hold up wasn’t there like 6 or 7 murders in Dominica earlier this year? Last time I checked there were none in Senjoe. This is not the first time somebody’s hand has been cut off either it’s happened several times in the past in Dominica. So why are there so many people making negative comments about senjoe like it’s only the village with problems. The fact is we many conditions in Dominica conducive to crime. We need solutions not scapegoats.

Unfortunately, bad things happen everywhere. No one nationality is immuned from any form of violence. The first step is, finding a solution to handle these isolated incidents. My prayers are with the young man and his family.

Stop all this negative thinking my people. We do not live in a perfect world….

    God bless

I have relatives in St. Joseph. As a child I would go to St. Joseph on holidays. Whenever I visit Dominica I always go to St. Joseph for obvious reasons.
St. Joseph is another village which is dear to my heart.
You are indeed correct to defend St. Joseph. I did read some of the negative comments and said that I will respond to them.
People are people. In every village, town or big, progressive country there are all types of people. Some are good, peaceful and law-abiding. There are others who are not. They may be adults or children. Only God knows why some people possess good minds and others evil minds.
I would think that St. Joseph has a Mayor or Councilor. It is their duty to speak to adults as well as the youths.
I do think for too long youths have been ignored (no exception in other countries of the world), be it by their parents who tried their utmost to discipline them and they would not listen to discipline. I do not blame all parents.
The time has come to do something more concrete about the youth and for them as we note that a 17 year old committed such an atrocious crime. This young man should have been in school or should have been learning a trade.
He should be taken to a psychiatrist or a family counselor, if these exist in Dominica or the Welfare authorities, whatever you call them, for counseling. He is young and could be rehabilitated.
He will have to pay the price for his actions as no doubt imprisonment and sadly so. He will have time to hopefully be remorseful for his actions and to change for the better. I pray that he will not grow up to adulthood as a bitter person.
It would be a good idea if he possesses such a mind to write a letter to the victim, to apologize. I do believe that he should be encouraged to do so. This would be a start of a healing process. He cannot undo what he has done but if he would do so I hope that his apology would be accepted. God forgives. Our Lord Jesus has told us to forgive others. Based under the circumstances, I do recognize that it is hard to do but Our Lord commanded us to forgive as a condition of him ever forgiving us.
As a school child I recall learning words of a short poem: “…Satan finds some mischief for idle hands to do.” I also say, “idle minds and feet.”
Younger adults and youths need to be kept busy lest they get into mischief and trouble including bad company. This is where the government should also step in to help them. May God help them.

I am from senjoe I left when I was 21 now I’m in my mid thirties. The only difference between my generation and this generation is that we had more acitivities to keep us occupied. We also had older guys to look up to. Maybe if I was born later I would have gotten caught in all this nonsense. Back then only a small minority smoked weed and drank all the time today it’s a small minority who don’t. The youths really need help. I hope something good can come out of this because this is not an islolated event nor will be the last. To all the people talking about prayer and church I’ve got news for you the most high only help those who help themselves. To all the pastors and priests stop preaching to the choir and go into the community and engage the youths. And to people like myself living overseas we need to do something to help the young warriors. It’s not to late we can still save this generation. This shit is pure madness!

Remember always at the end of the day the Lord will not judge you for what Senjoe people do but for what you do yourself.
Even though you are dere to critized hun message to you, keep OUT from our forum please, let the prostitutes, the Las Vegas clubbers, the hypocrites write on it on. Go back to your fletching country or the ravine you living in. Enough said here.

CRIME HAS NO PREFERENCE its every place u go. Some places are much worse than others. However it’s sad to see the road my people are taking especially the young. Its much different when I left in 2004. Day by Day all we live to hear is another soul is gone. Afterall the bible says it all that the heart of men will become more wicked, nations will be fighting against nations n the list goes on. Today we live in a society where man is for himself there no such thing call “best friend” any more. Its very hideous to commit such an act for something sooooo pitty.
@ UCL I AGREE that the government can only do so much for its ppl they are human beings too and Most times we fail to realize that the root of the problem for the young generation behaving in such manner may derive from many negative factors from the HOUSEHOLD, PEERS, and most influential the ENTERTAINING MEDIA that corrupts these young generation. (just stating FACTS!)
@ UCL I STRONGLY DISAGREE with u on the statement that u said about dominicans wanting the government to do everyting for them. I Guess u have not been everywhere to make such judgement n neither do i. I have relocated to ST.Croix for 6 yrs now n u wont imagine the young ppl here are sooo spoiled n rotten 2 d bone…..house rent gets paid, foood supplies are provided freely on a monthly basis, text books Free, Transportation to school is free, Tax return check for every kid in the household ALLL PAID FOR BY THE GOVERNMENT n all they do is sit n make kids like football team N dont work at all.yet still they have alll these opportunities to better themselves much more than DCA. sadly the one who really work hard like ppl from the lower caribbean are those who pay for it. I’m still proud to be a Dominican because I grew up with alot of respect and know what it is to work for what u want.SO DONT BE SOO JUDGEMENTAL ABOUT DOMINICANS CAUSE U HAVE NOT SEEN THE WORLD N MATTER OF FACT “THE GRASS IS NOT ALWAS GREENER ON THE OTHER SIDE” AS U MAY THINK.

MY COUNTRY, MY PEOPLE WE NEED PRAYERS.

I could go on about all the wrong I’m seeing here….point is everywhere have their good and bad and compared to most, Dominica is still a saint…so U C L., shot your mouth for you know not what you speak. Senjoe people we need to come together rebuild the public library, build a community center, organize football, basketball and cricket leagues . Get the youths off the streets get them into more constructive activities. Also give the high school a face lift so the kids can actually feel proud going there. Bless up

i dont care how this readers might feel or say am saying the gospel truth ,and this is what should matter ,St .Joseph is a village that is not civilize,a village where marijuana is easy and free where u can fine incurious men and women who have nothing doing but Go sipping among each other, there is nothing passing them bye, what ever u do they talk they hate other progress all they do is sit around block talking and trashing all they see. some people in st joseph derive to see others go through pain , i am not a dominican but i have been there more than 10 times .the atmosphere of the Village is evil ,the old people there did not set good examples dominicans likes to emulate others , they say what others say and do what others do so if their parents were gosippers and weed smokers and drunks they do thesame ,Dominican girls code of dressing is very disgusting their dresss like prostitutes naked no disipline they want to belong while they look disgusting ,parents can not speak to their children and they listern cause they were worst than the kids .they can do anything for money as long as it easy to do .the young girls wants it fast they dont want to go to school educate themselves and make it they always want the Government to do things for them . Dominica is the only place where i see they want the Goverment to bath them cloth them and put them to sleep and still yet clean thier ass when they shit , other countries u get up your behinds and go and work, but not dominica wake up and see them cuasing on tv radio saying bad things about the man who is doing a great work for their country to do well Mr skerit thier prime minister a man that knows what he is doing yet they criticize him.Dominica st . Joseph need serious deliverance there is evil in that village they need libration infact dominica of a whole needs Jesus and serious Prayer . i think the police in St .Joseph are not serious enough they go about sexing all this street girls in dominica .and that club there they open las Vegas what a waste people kids are finished .what is that village like i see another Sodom and Gomorrah God is angry with that Village they need repentance evil people have spat on that village .that village would have been the best in dominica but they Lack Christ God should inter vain .the last time in dominica a woman killed her kids men gun down , man killed in the tick bush and all that why take anothers life when u did not make them . why dont we have a forgiving heart and love towards one another ,why butcher our fellow humans like a goat meant for Christmas celebration over scissors for weed , why dont they get all those selling the drugs and jail them how many life are destroyed lots of mad men on the street of Dominica lost on weed alcohol.we have to go into school and educate them more and teach them that voilence is not good . Gorvernment should come to st joseph and put in more work on this people and help them be better people in future ,too much cutlas on the street of st.Joseph and dominica .there was an incident the chop off a man for a girl who is well known in sleeping around for money after the idiot almost lost his life he still went back to thesame idiot that almost took his life .there are so much knives on that street God should help so it dont move from matchets to Guns Government step in and intervain , they need delivrance from the bondage of satan .Evil and good dont mix.check your selves and be free

Ok first of all I won’t be a hypocrite and say there is no crime going on in our little country, but my dear, it happens everywhere. It is only now that I am seeing so much madness going on in Dominica. Crime has no special victim- its everywhere. Why are you beating down on Dominica for huh? You’ve only been there 10 times… we’ve been there for decades.
Secondly you have strayed from the topic. A young man’s hand was totally removed and here you are talking about how the young girls dress like prostitues. Sure, some of them really have no morals and proper upbringing but hello do not go slandering the name of all dominican girls collectively.I am a proud young lady and can say I have earned my respect by my appearance and behavior and I can guarantee you that although you might not think so there are still others like me.
YES our country needs prayers and guidance it is appalling to see how we are turning… but we have our share like every other country. Just go see for your self.

Wow let me start by saying your not from Dominica so CHECK YOURSELF and say whay you say with respect. Are you gonna open a business to give the young people work? because im sure they will be happy to work! I dont however completely disagree with you. This bad habits has been passed from generation and its sad. However Ive been in the US for 25 years and its in America where people sit their ass on welfare get free housing and sell their food stamp for half the cost to buy weed and other things and get mad when islanders get what they consider their job. Islander are Doctors, Lawyers and very hard workers in the US. Trust me we shine. Its just sad the young bright kids in DA dont stand a chance because the adults thats responsible for them also dont accept responsibility for themselves. Everyone watch BET and want to dress like the girls and act like the girls. But where are they getting money for cloths with no job??? Im done because i can write all day.

Miss U C L, your a… so so Domincan it is painful. you’ve visited Dominica 10 times darlin and i’m happy that you love our country so much to be that informed.. I am Dominican living in the US for over 20yrs and have visited more than 10 times, and you sure seem to know alot more than someone who claims to be a none Dominican. You are a very sad frustrated young lady and maybe you have your reasons, I am not going to point a finger at you. My mother raised me well, my grandmother did a awsome job with my mother. my great granmother was a saint. My grandfather was the strongest man I know, I have never seen my parents or grandparents smoke or drink. I have cousins in Dominica and they smoke. I have beautiful young female cousin in Dominca and senjoe and they are beautiful, their ass hang out for carnival and that’ s a great thing. We have our sad stories , we have crimes, we have lots of problem and trust me i get frustrated with our senjoe people as well, but don’t hide behide your computer and put our village down girlie,, i think you need help, you need to go back to school and educate your dumb ass learn to spell, stop visiting Dominca ,, stop going to Senjoe, we don’t need you in our business, you do not need our stress.
If you can’t contribute anything positive to our community go back to where you think you may come from,, since you trying so hard not to be Dominican… We do not need a non Dominican coming in our space and put us down… You Are Not Welcome in Senjoe and next time you feel the need to come to Dominca make a detour you are bad Karma.

After reading some more of the comments, I came to one conclusion that this boy was an angry person…did any one in society gave him a chances? question him as to why he is so angry…when a child is bad it’s not because he wants to be bad…..but simply because some of people told him that he was…..now is the time to look around try saving one of the so called bad ones…and prevent this from happen to you or me…..and stop chanting them on…..

    Negative attracts negative……..

When will we come to our senses? A young man!!! he could have been any one of us SON….loses his HAND! and some people make such foolish comments blaming Country, villages politicians… making fun of someones pain? have any one stopped, and think of the families of both these boys… in some ways they are both in pain….We as Dominicans / human beings, should stop putting salt in the wounds of others…..for we know not what is ahead of us..cause when ours children hurt, we’re hurting as well….sad for both young boy……those chanting will remember they were there and did nothing…and that vision will remain forever……

    How sad…..

Thank you DON for warning us of viewing this. It is upsetting. I will say that is a beautiful hand which was severed. Know that it saddens God to see the way some people live and act. There are those who cannot control their temper.
The stupid things that some people argue about and do. A man’s hand is cut out over a sissors :?:
People must use psychology. Of course, there are some people who do not know about this.
Wherever we are, as long as there are people, there could be trouble.
When trouble presents itself, the best thing to do is run away from it. Try to make up and if the situation persists, stay away from it. Avoid such companionship and arguments for this could lead to a worst situation as in this case.
I have a principle, if in communicating and keeping friendship with people and they are cantankerous – always arguing and causing trouble and we just cannot get along, in that it consistently annoys me, I sever that friendship, cease communication and without becoming enemies.
It is not easy to act lovingly at all times if people reside in the same household. Someone and something will surely annoy them but if they do not reside in the same household this is what they should do.
We should know whom we interact and keep company with. There is a way of getting along with people. In fact I avoid certain discussions with them. This reminds me of what Our Lord Jesus Christ taught us:
Matthew 5:38:43 – Teaching about Retaliation – You have heard that it was said, “An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.” But I say to you, offer no resistance to one who is evil. When someone strikes you on your right cheek, turn the other one to him as well. If anyone wants to go to law with you over your tunic, hand him your cloak as well. Should anyone press you into service for one mile, go with him for two miles. Give to the one who asks of you, and do not turn your back on one who wants to borrow.
Our Lord spoke clearly and gave us many directives to follow in order to live in godliness, happiness and peace with everyone as we strive for mortal and spiritual perfection.
As it is also stated: “Some people cannot live in peace and will not allow others to live in peace.”
I do not know those two men, what their lifestyle is like, if they are practicing Christians and which one was the perpetrator which led to this sad situation. I do think that it is sad that some people do not know what is contained in Holy Scriptures and if they know do not practice it.
The poor man will be without a hand for the rest of his life. He may have to use a false hand if he can afford it. It is too bad that his family did not know the procedure of keeping the hand in so that the doctor could re-attach it.
As for the other man, I expect the Dominican Law will deal with him accordingly. This man has shown that his heart is a wicked one. As the saying: “Who knows what lurks in the heart of man?” Some friend he is. A genuine friend would do no such thing to his friend, cut-off his hand. This is so sad.
No prison sentence and monetary compensation could ever compensate the man for losing his hand and for the pain and suffering he is undergoing. I pray that he will overcome this in time. May God assist him.

I FIND IT TASTELESS, DISGUSTING AND REPULSIVE FOR DNO TO POST SOMETHING SO GRAPHIC FOR THE WHOLE WORLD TO SEE. THIS PICTURE CAN KEEP WOULD BE VISITORS AWAY FROM OUR SHORES. THEY WOULD’NT THINK OF ALL THE BEAUTIFUL SCENERIES WE HAVE ON THE ISLAND. THE IMAGE THAT WILL BE STUCK IN THEIR HEADS IS THAT OF A LIFELESS HAND LYING IN THE STREET. WHICH BY THE WAY, WOULD LEAVE THEM TO THINK THAT DOMINICANS ARE A BUNCH OF HULLIGANS. WHO KNOWS, MAYBE THEY MIGHT THINK THAT THEY ARE BACK HOME LOOKING AT FRIDAY THE 12TH.

    ADMIN
The photos will remain. A severed hand cannot compare to the rubbish, blood, gore, killings, drugs, sexual perversions that are promoted on the same channels you and I watch everyday, yet you come here blasting a photo of a severed hand. A woman’s head was cut off in St. Vincent and it was all over the internet, media; a man was shot to death in Barbados and it was shown bloody on frontpages and on the internet; don’t even mention my home country Jamaica, yet all these countries boasts visitor arrivals that dwarf that of Dominica. Tourists are not like some Caribbean people. They read and understand. They’re not going to just see a photo of a severed hand and do not read the story. The story is not about locals randomly chopping peoples hands off, including that of tourists. So please, before you mislead people, think twice before writing.

:( :( i feel sad when i hear things like that happen, especially when you know the ppl, i know these boys went to school with them, especially with brian, we went to the seventh day adventist primary school in st joseph, this just shows how ppl change over time and how much influence friends, especially family can have on a young child, no parent is perfect, but when a child is between the ages of 6 and 9 and you dont diciplin that child, or show him what tis wrong or right, and help that child be a better person what makes u think at the age of 16, 17, 18 u can change their minds!!!!

First of all I do not reside in DA but here’s my take. It is wrong that this individual took matters in his own hands. Very wrong. But my question is, how do we know that this was only over a pair of scissors and not a million other things that led to that? Perhaps it was. Sometimes people could only put up with som much and from what i understood, the victim was senjo’s TERROR,

check police records, do background checks before you say alas. I will repeat that it was wrong that the individual acted so harshly so lets just say thank you it wasnt you who did it.

doesn’t really matter what led to it. why people cannot be more peaceful on a whole. people too troublesome. and is a reciprocal kinda deal. both parties need to calm themselves and realize that life is bigger than fighting over anything in general. is because everyone trying to silence civil activists, and want to air violent acts. even if its news, we so open about showing the gruesome things. we so open about calling the youth bad. well you expect it you get it eh. PMH has reattached limbs in the past however considering that the limb sat there in the heat it may be less likely that the operation to successfully reattach the man’s hand and have it functioning would be successful. It really should have been bagged and placed in ice immediately as opposed to left and outlined in chalk as if the man were dead and could not say what happen

Well said Nas wrote an open letter after the kid was beaten to death in California. I think we really need help from the Dominican diaspora. The youths have no role models we had massive migration out of the country. Senjoe people we need to come together rebuild the public library, build a community center, organize football, basketball and cricket leagues . Get the youths off the streets get them into more constructive activities. Also give the high school a face lift so the kids can actually feel proud going there. Bless

The level of violence that is making no sense is what the political parties should be addressing instead of these political posturing of wanting to get support for things where a business man trying to distroy the little support Dominica is getting and an egotistical Minister thinking that the lark of insight to inappropriate response of the business folly was the best way to go. They (UWP and DLP) should get together and put a plan in place to address the crime issue. You have a government trying to always defend themselves against attacks from every corner. Then there is the lame dock opposition who don’t know if they coming or going talking about the issues that are of no significance to the average man, they demonstrating. Please, get you damn acts together and move Dominica out from the violent streak that want to take hold in the country. This is just too much.

Agree. We have created a culture of hate and lack of respect in our country due to this constant hatred for individuals and the aggression that is preached over our airwaves every morning,at nights and now even on saturdays and sundays, not even a break from it all for worship.
With people who should know better teaching our children,on their radio shows, how to disrespect the very institutions and figures in our society which we once held dearly and respected.
Now the youths have no regard for anything what so ever, they have completely lost their way because bright well spoken people are constantly on the airwaves preaching hate.

stop it dominicans we accustom to violence . i meaan a cutlass was never used on me but if recieved so much punch in my head form my father. you know wht that feels like your brAINS rateling, punch in the back, you feel like your heart is about to burst out of your chest.

violence breeds violence. i am a very angry person myself. i am tryin my best to work on that. i am not a man and therfore have not gotten into fights but i’m wondering what if i were a strong male full of totesterone. good theing i’m not.

we need to put an end to violence at the home. lots of parent need to go to jail.

    • Watcher for Jesus
      November 30, 2010

I feel for you as you have used this medium to talk about something which disturbed you. Yes according to you you have indicated that you are “a very angry person myself. i am tying my best to work on that” You say you are not a man which means that you are a young person. Congratulations! You wonder why I said that to you.. You have confessed and recognised that you have a problem. And DNO readers listen to him that there is a lot of violence in the home. Let eachof us readers start at our own homes. Are we part and parcel of that violence in our home and then we blame someonelse for the violent youths we have so far created?

well – to you again. You need to forgive your Father .. yes forgive him. He may have been subjected to that kind of violence himself and did not know how to show his love to you since he was not taught how to do so. Since you have identified your problem , then you have to make a concerted effort that this vicious circle does not continue. Why forgive?. because the Father himself forgived us and to ice the cake, he sent his son to die for our sins. Show love towards your father and when time permits, talk to him in a loving manner to point out to him what he did to you was wrong. There are scars since you spoke about it. Love conguereth all. If he asks for forgiveness, then forgive him. Let him know that you still love him but you did not like the treatment as indicated above.

Now you cannot do this alone, you need the Father and you need to get to persons who will understand your plight and be there with you to encourage and lift you up when you falter. To correct in love and be honest to you. Only persons who has found the Lord as their personal saviour is capable of doing so. The world is a place of violence , corruption etc you name all the nastiest things you can think of. When one indulges in the way of the world, he/she gets no good advice from persons out there but to continue the vicious circle of being vengeful on one another.

My advice to you give your life to Christ. Pray without ceasing so the Lord will give you wisdom to go the correct path. Read the Holy book and learn the lesson there. Be obedient to the Lord. You have to get out of a lot of worldly things and do the Father’s will. It will not be very easy for you. There are a lot of temptations out there. But if you put your trust in him not man, then you will be able to withstand the temptations out there. I see you as becoming a mentor and man to speak for the youth on violence.

The Father’s blessing be bestowed on you.

Persons we do have a serious violent problem. Do you stand idly by and refuse to talk to the young ones in our community? Are we condoning the violence in our community (Island) by our speech and actions? Do we display double standards – say one thing and do another? Are we real good role models to our young ones? Do we talk violently to one another and do we swear, cuss, disrepect one another infront of our youngsters? Do we teach them to be hateful of one another? Do we teach them to be tolerant of one another even if we do not agree with another one views? D o we teach them to listen? Do we disrespect authority and this is one of our biggest problem, having no respect for our Leaders – Religious, Spiritual and others? Do we teach them to respect other persons property from preschool age or do we teach them that it is ok to have whatever they see and want at any cost even it means taking something belonging to one another? Do we laugh when they are todlers and they do the meanest things and let them know it is alright just because they are sweet and truly looking good. Train up a child in the way of the Lord and he will not depart from it.

They are learning from us. Yes us and they mirror us from childhood. Yes us and we are the ones who have created the nightmare we do have in society now.

What can we do? Retrace our steps. Find the Lord Jesus Christ. Ask for wisdom from the Father who gives it to us freely and do a new thing in our life, yes a new thing. We repent and turn from our wicked ways – backbiting, gossiping, two faced, jealousy, envious and all the other ills of our society and ask our Father to forgive us in the Nation. then he will forgive us and open the windows of Heaven and pour Blessings upon our Nation.

NB I did not pinpoint any one (person, Leader, Name calling) No blame game. We are all to be blamed including myself. We do sometimes think we are more than others. We look down on others. Until it comes knocking on our door and lying on our doorsteps. we do not speak to others when we see something wrong. We are each others keeper and one word from us sometimes can make a difference in our neighbours life. We just have to be very honest and point out the wrong in a loving manner not hostile. Point out to them the youths and be truthful. They will respect you since you have sploken the truth and not what they want to hear.

The effects we see is what we have created by being a noncaring and unloving persons (society) that we are today. Always looking for ugly and as I have always said looking for the smallest fault and capitalising and exploding it . For example like a tiny hole in a well dressed person’s suit or dress and using this one tiny hole to bring down the individual; not even applauding the other positive in that person. Jealousy and envy breeds its ugly head as we have to only speak of the tiny hole only and explode it.

      Hello Well

I hope that you will read Watcher for Jesus’ response to your post very carefully. It was sent to you with the warmth of Jesus’ Love.

I feel for you as well. But you have made the greatest step; to acknowledge that you are angry. Yes you have the right to be angry, because your are hurting, knowing that this pain was inflicted in you by your own father.

God has heard your cry; know that He will deliver you from this turmoil of your emotions. Along with all that Watcher for Jesus has said to you, I just need to remind you that Almighty God, in the Person, Jesus Christ, wants to be your Father, the greatest Father you will ever have forever and ever. Take the advice of Watcher for Jesus. I promise you that you will not regret it.

Hmmm, I don’t know the guys but from the article states, it seems like they have been having issues for a while now. The scissors was just the final straw of the event that cause tempers to erupt to that point.
We as a society do not know how to deal with issues; we can’t deal with conflict, we can’t deal with defeat; we can’t deal with anger, loss, nada!

I know!!! We have to pray harder people, we cannot resort to violence over everything. That was a very petty matter for it to reach that far. Then again I was not there and I was not in the individuals shoes. :(
