A second man has now been charged in relation to the killing of Marvlyn Robinson.
Bernie Samuel of Gutter Village was charged with murder when he appeared in a Roseau court on Thursday morning.
The preliminary inquiry into the matter is set for April 9, 2013.
He did not enter a plea because the offense is an indictable one.
Samuel was remanded in custody.
He was arrested on Wednesday.
Robinson died from numerous stab wounds inflicted on various parts of her body at her Giraudel residence in the wee hours of November 3.

Well i can say Mrs. Robinsion had a wonderful send off today… as much as it heart my heart that she was killed by some young guys who she was trying to help change there life i can say she is resting in peace. I pray that she hunt all you in jail and all you would never be able to sleep because all you too dam evil.

They were arrested and charged “for murder”. Even though the case has not yet been called, they inflicted stab wombs and murdered her. Is this not enough to know that they are guilty? You think that they will be acquitted? I doubt this very much. I hope they will not be released on bail. They do not deserve to walk the streets. It was not about a murder where they had a quarrel and then the wounds were inflicted which caused her death. They went to her home while she was sleeping. This is a heinous crime. The more I write about this, the more I become angry knowing that Marvlyn died at the hands of those wicked young men. They, too, should have been sleeping in their beds. It is as if Satan was with them, leading them and prompting them to injure and kill her. They can’t put the blame on him. The choice was theirs. If there is no hanging, I hope they rot in prison for the rest of their lives.

Dont you guys learn? Look just de other day someone else was arrested as a SUSPECT for murder. It turned out that he was the worng guy so they let him go. yOU GUYS SO MANY BAD THINGS TO SAY ABOUT THE GUY WITHOUT EVEN FINDING OUT IF THERE WAS ANY EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT HIS GUILT. They released him as they determined HE WAS not part of the crime.

If you encourage someone, if you drove the person to the area knowing that a crime will be committed and if you are with them at the time of the crime, you are downright guilty of the crime, be it a less demeanor. Bad company corrupts. He should have known to run away from trouble and not encourage Clarence to do what he did. They thought they would not get caught. There is a God above and Marvlyn had time to identify him and to inform her family and friend about it. Otherwise, they could have well escaped and probably no one would know what the primary perpetrator did along with his accomplice. Let them pay the price of their evil actions.

It is sad that Marvlyn lost her life in such a manner. May she rest in peace. Amen!
Had he not been there, he would not have been accused or considered a suspect. Don’t be quick to judge because the majority of you on here knows him or his family, would the comment be the same had it been your family member? Some Dominicans are too hypocritical. Marvlyn was killed in her home by these two animals. I say hang them and set examples for the others, criminals in Dominica get away with too much.

Please,please as a son of the soul,living in the diaper i would like to know who is that young man.as a young man living in gutter village in the 70, 80 and middle 90 all we did was play foot ball and cricket in the street, and I remember going to the river. What I can say is that Samuel is not one of the original guy he must be an inported one that is spoiling the village name. Can some body tell me would is his family in gutter village. I am away but I still love my village a proud son of gutter village. I would like to big up all the people of gutter village stay strong, there is still good people living and working in gutter village. In ending I must say that we had a coach in London with the dominica athletics team so there is still good in my village.
The situation is wherever they reside in Dominica, some of those young men are bad people. What I ask is what happened to Dominica that some of them have turned to crimes/murders? I have said it before it is due to godlessness and idleness. Imagine how far they lived and they found themselves all the way in Giraudel. You are correct, this should also be taken into consideration when their cases are called and they are sentenced for they will be sentenced unless they die in jail prior to their cases being called.
