Police on Tuesday morning could not confirm that a burnt vehicle found in Layou belonged to a man who went missing on the weekend.
The vehicle was reportedly found on Sunday and speculation has been rife that it belonged to Kervin “Rock” Christopher.
The police had reported Christopher as missing on Friday, November 2. He was last seen driving a Rav4 with registration plate PS496 around 10:00 am.
“We cannot confirm anything at this point,” Acting police PRO Inspector Richmond Valentine told DNO on Tuesday. “We don’t have any facts.”
Rumours have also been swirling concerning the fate of Christopher. Some suggested that he was found dead in Portsmouth while others said he was found in Calibishie with both hands chopped.
However the police said none of these are true and investigations into the disappearance continue.

.The vehicle is fitted with an identification plate on the fire wall which indicates model and chassis #.The engine also has a I.D number which they can retrive and match it with there records at the inland revenue dept.
who tell you hey ave not done just that? the police will not and cannot just give out each piece of information as it becomes available and the media needs to educate the public on that. do u all look at certain us programs information and evidence must be classified and as time goes by during an investigation, certain info becomes de classified and can be passed on to the media and public this is just proceedure so stop picking on the police. if these young men were not too greedy and hungry for fast money then comment like urs would bo mero constructive concerning the role of the police and the media. nothing personal just education .
