Double murder suspect returned to Antigua

Kenroy Marshall
Kenroy Marshall

After two escapes from police, a man wanted in connection with the murder of two Dominicans is back in Antigua.

News reports from Antigua indicate that Kenroy Marshall was flown into the island on Thursday from the US.

He was escorted by two US Marshals and handed over to Antiguan police who scurried him away from the VC Bird International Airport.

In December, Marshall managed to evade Antigua police on two occasions, once at a house and the other at the VC Bird International Airport after he was captured in Montserrat.

He was eventually located and captured in the US.

Marshall was wanted by the police for the murders of Alix Riviere and Alwin Robin who were found shot, execution style, on October 4 2012, in an area called Cedar Valley in Antigua.

Dead men tell no tales. I suspect that Marshal is going to soon be in someone else’s crosshairs because he has to be kept quite one way or the other. There are some big players in here folks. Since all attempts to help him escape has failed, his boss(es) are now going to have to pay someone else to do to him exactly what the paid him to do to our two countrymen.

I am pleased he was caught and at long last was brought back to Antigua. He dared not evade the U.S. Marshalls. They are well-equipped with their guns. I bet if he tried to escape they would not hesitate to at least injure him and they would be within their rights.
He realized that he is defeated and as he was handed over to the Antigua police. I do hope he is he is in a proper incarceration area, segregated from the other prisoners and kept under constant surveillance.
I hope Antigua’s prison is able to house such an awful criminal who may not think twice to try to escape if the opportunity presents itself. In fact, his eyes may be open for any leeway. If he tried, how far could he go this time is another matter.

He may not be the only one involved. Are you serious that you do not believe one man could kill two men? You may be residing in DA.
First of all, they were not murdered at the same time. Secondly, it is not impossible for one person to kill two men. It happens all the time and also more people. Even children murder more than one family member. They plan their move and carry it out as quickly as possible.

He was captured quickly, obviously because he was placed on INTERPOL, dont know if you folks know what interpol is because dominicans seems to be very backwards and old fashion people, he should have know if he is a suspect in a muder and he escape he would have placed on interpol and if that is the case then he is really dumb to head to the USA its like going for a swim in a crocrodile pit.

Where do you reside? You state that Dominicans seem to be very backwards and old-fashioned people. You are generalizing and rather insulting to your fellow Dominicans and in a worst manner. You deserve thumbs down.
They do not know about Interpol? Some may not know but others do know. Furthermore, it is no big deal if they do not know. They have no reason to know if it does not concern them and Dominica.
Those who reside in progressive countries should know about Interpol. If they do not know then they could be called ignorant, unconcerned and lacking knowledge of same.
Most Dominican residents have computers. Some of them may be knowledgeable about Interpol. If others are not I would not make such a statement as you did. I will understand their situation. Your writing was not worded correctly and respectfully. You also did not utilize proper punctuation marks.

As a former NYPD Detective Squad Supervisor I have submitted four identified perpetrators name to Interpol and so far two have been apprehended. I am very proud to be Dominician so please look into the mirrow and tell us what you see. I will not be derogatory or unprofessional to you. Thanks.

i agree, dominicans are a bit backwards and old fashioned, they are being rulled by a dictator so that could be one of their problems, the dictator has the bull by it horns so dominicans are in a suficating state, infastructure is poor, the economy, o lord, a ral sore eye, education acceptable but much better cant be done, lets just say this government is the worst case scenario for dominicans, poor dominica, their demise has just begun.

    A couple questions:
What state in de US was he found? What city?
Was he alone? Was he living with someone?
    Is Tony Astaphan his lawyer

    Curious

      February 23, 2013

For our curiosity and satisfaction we would like to know. However, why bring Tony Astaphan’s name in it? The man committed two crimes in Antigua and should be represented by an Antigua lawyer.

  15. February 21, 2013

I bet you, that man going to escape again on dem Antigen Police. I am speculating that there are some crooked and dirty Police in the Antigua Police Force who have interest in the matter and they are the ones who are responsible of allowing those young men to go, and making it seem as if, it is an escape. That is why I believe they will escape again. WATCH AND YOU WILL SEE! MARK MY WORDS!!!

Inspite of what some people may think those two guys didn’t deserve that kind of death. We tend to condemn others and be very judgemental, not realizing that all sin is sin in Gods eye. And moreover you don’t have any proof they were in drugs. The two ex cops were charged for the drugs, which by the way they claimed! Alwin inspite of his past just happened to be there where he usually stays when visiting antigua.
As for Alix, he was a loving soul who worked very hard. All Antiguans will say the same …….. Not one of them claims that he was or ever suspected of dealing drugs.
I just hope that after all our judgements fair and unfair, we won’t end up in a similar predicament or worse, even if we are not involved!
      God bless.

    Well what irony;

Marshall brought in by marshals. Is either he escape again this time or be found dead in his cell.

It will be interesting to see how that unfolds. What will be the next approach to escaping since the first one was short-lived. I don’t think what happened previously was an “escape” it was a collaborative effort by the suspect and “old friends” but let’s see what happens this time around.
